I visited the Moxy in Ny and had a completely different experience. This Moxy wasn’t clean. The room smelled of mildew. It was so poorly ventilated that our towels didn’t dry. The room was dusty and small.

For the price, this was the smallest and most uncomfortable room I’ve ever stayed in. There are no closets or drawers in the room in which to put your things. Everything was overpriced from the water, to the drinks to the food. They charge $30 a DAY for amenities, of which there were few. The only “amenity“ I used was the Internet and a free cup of coffee in the morning. For a Marriott, it was very disappointing and I would never recommend Moxy. On the plus side, the staff was cheerful and helpful, the place was clean and bright, and they had a nice courtyard in which to sip your coffee. The location to the Art Deco area of South Beach was convenient.

Love the colorful decor and variety of common areas to relax or have a drink. Based on the photos that is why I chose this hotel. Nicely done! This was my husband and my first visit to South Beach. We only had time to stay one night after flying in for our cruise to Bahamas. I hope to come back for another stay sometime in the future.
We loved the rooftop pool area. The ocean breeze felt great up there. Hold on to your hat.

Besides the not so spacious rooms, I literally have nothing bad to say about the Moxy. Great ambiance and locale. Also, Patrick at the Serena rooftop restaurant provided outstanding service while being understaffed

All I would like to say is there is a $100 per night for incidentals and a $34/day tax for property fees... i will say that caught me by surprise but everything was great. You will have to request a microwave and iron if you need/want it. But everything I asked for was already in my room upon check-in. The property was good and clean and absolutely loved the rooftop view of the ocean

First time staying at the Moxy Miami, a couple things: Pros: 1) Check in, Pool and bar staff were amazing 2) Food was tasty at serena 3) roof top had great views 4) great location Cons: 1) We stayed for 4 nights and our room was never cleaned. 2) We had to request towels daily 3) housekeeping staff were visible but I honestly don’t know what they were doing. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but probably wouldn’t return because of housekeeping. This seems to be a common theme among guest experiences, really too bad.

We love Moxy hotels,we stayed many times at Moxy in the States and in Europe!Beautiful ,clean,modern and homie hotel.We loved our stay ,so close to the beach and also they have a luggage storage . We’ll be back .

Description of the room needs to be clear that this is not your standard room. What they describe as modern design has no closets or drawers and very limited space. Perfect for singles or young couples with small bags. Very loud with music blazing until later hours of the night as well.

What a great property to stay in Miami. In the middle of the action but quiet due to the location. so much to do and a great pool and restaurant! I will be back!
