Great location; Not so great hotel

This is a very small hotel in a prime area in South Beach. It is hard to know where to park or even where to enter into the hotel. When I was checking in, I called the front desk several times to ask and nobody was available. The valet parking person was not initially visible, and there was no signage stating "valet parking park here." Signiage very much necessaruy. When you enter, the bottom floor is a lounge area. with a tiny tiny "reception" area. Frankly, the reception area does not look appealing or inviting. I came away feeling it looked seedy. Reception person was very nice, though, and helpful. Once I got up into my room, I was more comfortable. The bed was nice. Big water pressure problems in the shower. Lots of things needed refurbishing. Bottles of water and cookies were a nice touch. Lots of light in the room (very difficult to get the room completely dark, owing to the strong outside streetlights. Checkout process was easy. I think with some fixes -- especially the arrival process and the bleak reception area -- the hotel would be more welcoming. At present, though, I can't recommend the hotel, and I personally would not stay there again.

Quirky hotel above a restaurant We did not find the bed very comfortable and had a poor nights sleep do to that and the fan constantly running for the AC. It was either that or be too warm.

Our stay was far from satisfactory. Each time we left the building, we had to rely on staff and their master key to get back into our room due to a broken room key system. There was no apology offered, no dinner or complimentary experience at their restaurant to make up for the inconvenience, and no invitation to return for a better experience. Overall, this was an unacceptable situation.

It's nice and convenient. The hotel lobby is small for 4 star hotel but the rooms are big and very clean. Hotel staff was very good and friendly. Its close to the south Beach area and is convenient. Nice stay overall.

The hotel is right on Ocean Drive, many eating places nearby. They themselves have 3 high-class restaurants. A small reception, the access to the rooms is quite narrow, passing through their dining area, a passage between bar and kitchen. The check-in was smooth and the room was comfortable. I had ordered for food from a restaurant via Uber Eats and I called the front desk to send some cutlery to the room; but the person managing the phone said they cannot give plates, but only a plastic box and plastic cutlery. I found it quite strange, considering I was a resident, paying guest. In between my stay, some guy entered my room around 8:30 AM, while I was still lying in bed. As my back was towards the door, and the door is not visible from the other side of the room; I loudly asked who it was; and he just apologized and exited. I don't think housekeeping start their work that early in the day, and I didn't see any male staff amongst the housekeeping people. I'm unsure who he was, though must be on their staff, and how he gained access to my room when the room was locked from inside (I always make sure I rotate the extra lock nob before I sleep). I didn't flag it to anyone as I wasn't too worried about it. Overall, it's a decent place, good location, good rooms.

It was ok, wouldn't stay here again, the Hotel is definitely an afterthought for the restaurant. No parking, valet is $50. and hard to find. The shower has all these heads but none of them worked.

The hotel was clean, but it doesn't have parking. You have to pay an extra $50 to park. The bathroom floods when you shower. The lobby doesn't exist because it's a restaurant. You don't even have a place to sit to wait for Uber. I wouldn't go back to the hotel. It's not that comfort.
