We’ve been coming here for years, since 2019. Each year we come, we notice that it’s not as clean as the last. But overall, we love the Mondrian. This is probably the last time we will come here, though. The place has really gone downhill. The showers are moldy, the bedding smells old, and they barely have towels for the outside chairs anymore. There’s mold in the ice from the ice machines so they obviously don’t clean them. When we arrived, they gave us the wrong room. We had to come back downstairs (we were exhausted from our flight), and had them assign us the right room. We get in our room and the shower is soooo moldy but we were so tired. There was literally mold falling on my feet from the shower as you’re in there trying to wash your body. And the lining is coming off the sides, there’s pink mold as well. The next day, I notice MOLD IN MY DRINK. Literally black mold from the ice. We tell the front desk and they ignore us about the mold but switch our room to a one bedroom- which was better but there was still mold. I just don’t get it. This is a beautiful property, one we’ve been going to for years. But it’s so dirty now and definitely will be our very last visit here.

I enjoyed the serene area around the hotel. The privacy of the pool was also quite nice. The room was bigger than expected which was a plus. On Expedia’s page one of the amenities stated was that the Mondrian provided beach towels but on the day I was planning to go to the beach the front desk staff said they only provide pool towels. I feel this is misleading.

It seems like a great hotel but there are some unruly guests & the staff doesn’t seem to have a great plan for issues that arise pertaining to that. Not a place for family or elegant get away.

Can’t even begin to explain my experience with this place…. Dirty sheets, hair all over the room, stains on the curtains, looked like the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned in a while. We asked for a room change and even the other room shown had stains on the sheets. We had no choice and decided to just ask for a sheet change in our room. House keeping was so rude and nasty, first she tried to get me out of the room for a sheet change and I said no, they came in to change the sheets and I watched them throw out about 5 sheets because the ones they had brought in also had stains. No wonder they were trying to get me out the room, because they were going to put another dirty sheet back on and go about their day. Got no accommodation and staff and manager were rude and nasty. They make the lobby and outdoor area really nice to mask all the old dirty rooms. Even the workers said they get complaints everyday about the room and management does nothing. I was so disappointed in my stay here.
