I used to stay here very often and, after many years, decided to stay here for a business trip. The hotel has been remodeled and it looks nice. The rooms are small but comfortable. The best of the hotel are the two lovely Argentinian ladies who work at the reception. The nightmare started when very early in the morning construction started right next to my room, every single day! The noise was absolutely unbearable; to make it worse, the construction workers were carrying endless, and very loud, conversations right in from of my door. They have absolutely zero respect or show any concern for the guests. The same goes for the cleaning staff, who do the same and bang things around as if they were fixing a cruise liner engine! The noise is very disturbing, making it impossible to sleep. To make matters worse, an alarm —I presume a fire alarm— went off, obviously rather loudly, in the middle of the night and would not stop. I went to the reception. And found the attendant sleeping; I asked him what was going on, he rather calmly replied “it is malfunctioning but someone is coming to fix it in the morning.” When I asked how is one supposed to sleep with an alarms blaring all night! His rather unprofessional reply was “yo, don’t go tripping bro, I said it will be fixed in the morning!”. It went in and off for the entire night, making it impossible to get any rest —and only to be replaced by the noisy “work crews”. I will never ever stay there again. Never!
