Weekend trip

We attended the SOBE food and wine festival so this location was great we were within walking distance. Property has nice entrance, bar area and good music playing it was a bit loud but once in the room it wasn’t to bad we were able to sleep no problem and room was on the first floor. Room was old and outdated but it was clean. Mini fridge fully stock and many option, prices were decent just check expiration dates, some snack were old. Check in was easy and fast front staff very professional.

Bug infestation in the hotel and bed bugs

It was terrible! They are infested with bugs, so much so, when I went to the front desk to let them know I had a complaint, before I even said anything he said "is it bugs in your room too?"... Then he proceeded to say we have a bug problem in this hotel others have complained about it as well. Then I asked if I could get a discount because I slept very uncomfortably "knowing" the room was infested with bugs and they told me no. Do not book with this hotel it is absolutely terrible and they are not letting customers know they have a bug problem. Go and get ate up by bed bug and lay on a dirty bed with sheets that have not been cleaned.

I like The couches outside the property but they didn’t let me sit on the couch to wait for check in. The hotel had roaches in the room and the pillows were very old and torn . There were insect droppings on the hooks and screws in the bathroom and they also give you used body wash and used lotion. The a c didn’t work and also was stereo typing my friends

We rented a suit in adjacent building. - The door lock opens with digital cards. Well apparently the lock is faulty and the facility knows about it. It takes literally 10-20 time tries to open. - The exhaust fan is working 24/7 and makes cranky sound all the time. - Right outside our room there’s couple of chairs and table and every single night I had to fight with people smoking weed, laughing hard, screaming and talking loud till 2-3am. And since there’s no in-room phone to call management nor reception after midnight I had to get into arguments with them all the time. All the sound and weed fumes were literally inside our room. Consider that this area is like a hallway access to all rooms and suits and not part of the bar or lounge area. It was super exhausting. I’m not sure about their standard rooms which are in main building but I’m not recommending their suits unless they do something about the sitting arrangements/restrictions after certain hours. The positive experience was their location.

I didn’t like how the housekeeping lady kept mopping around us in that small area and pouring a strong solution on the floors while we waited for our time to check in, it made me extremely sick to the point where I had to sit outside called me a uber and went to the airport I couldn’t sleep here. The hotel was cute from the outside, but as soon as you stepped in the cuteness disappeared. There was a dry rot between the bathroom and the main room. The bed was completely disappointing. You could see it before even laying in it that it sagged to one side I I used the text service to try to get more pillows to see about propping up this mattress and after over an hour I got a response saying there is no extra pillows available. I lifted up the mattress and saw pillows underneath the mattress already attempting to prop this mattress up. I got maybe two hours of sleep all night. This was not worth the money paid.

Was given a room with plumbing issues. No running water. Shower head was broken off. When asked for service, it took them over 3hrs to respond and was not seen until 26hrs later. When the maintenance guy came, he said that my room should be vacant due to plumbing issues. When I discussed this with the front desk, they moved me to a room with a tv that had 6 working Spanish channels no views and facing an alley where we heard a garbage truck run through about every couple of hours. The manager of the hotel said there was nothing he could do and that my stay was non refundable.

Room #420 is amazing!

Loved this place! We had Room #420 and it was large…especially for Miami. Ana at the front desk was so kindly accommodating giving us an extended checkout after long flights. Didn’t have an issue with noise and bathroom was great!
