Good choice near airport

The Manukau Motor Lodge was a convenient place for us to stay before returning the rental car to the airport the next morning. The small pool was unheated, but the sauna (15 NZD) was a nice touch.

Convenient location. The room was spacious with a kitchen, dinning area, lounge, bathroom and two bedrooms. It had a good sized fridge and dishwasher drawer. The bedrooms had storage which was very useful. We liked how the toilet had a sliding door to make it private from then main bathroom. The beds were super comfortable. The boom had a ceiling fan in the main room and a fan in each bedroom but the room was still very hot in summer. The car parking spaces are very narrow. We wanted to go for a swim when we got back to our room but the gate was padlocked shut so we couldn’t which was disappointing. Overall we had a great stay and would

Great little motel very clean and spacious and convenient from airport. Wouldn’t stay here for a long time though as the area isnt exactly a holiday type destination. Nice staff. Would stay again going in and out of Auckland

I booked this motel for my Daughter and her three kids-No bins in bathroom and the worst was she was hit with being asked for a $200.00 bond-or credit card-she had neither and said she would phone me-her Mother-but NO-had to have a physical credit card-they took her eftpos card-this was a Birthday present from me for my Grandson-they never travel to Auckland so this has put them off.
