The staff were very friendly. Just a few notes. If two people are staying in the room there should be two towels…we had to ask for the second one. The kettle in our room was not working so had to ask for a new one. Also we have never stayed in a hotel where wifi is extra. For what you pay for a hotel room these days wifi should be included.

Room for improvement

Hotel looks very tired and could benefit from a refresh. Lots of tiny moths in bedroom/ bathroom (room 427). Air conditioning in room noisy and ineffective. Beds comfotable. Bar lacked atmosphere and bar staff clearly wanted to clear up & go home rather than serve us. This is my third visit but would likely choose somewhere else next time based on this recent experience.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The lobby was a bit austere, but it was clean and the staff at the front desk was polite. The only real issue I had was the non-functioning heat. When I checked in, my room was 15 degrees. I ran the heat for an hour or two and never went up. I called down to the front desk and their solution was to bring up a space heater. It worked, but it took several hours for the room to reach a comfortable temperature. I'm not sure if the heating was broken for the whole floor, or maybe the entire hotel was booked, but I think a better solution might have been to offer me a different room.

Everything was easy, from the online check in to the proximity to Euston Station and the many ‘must do’ sights. The room was lovely and clean. I enjoyed my stay and definitely would stay again.

terrible stay

It was a very cold night in London (minus 4 degree Celsius) and the room temperature in my room couldn’t go up above 17.8 all night!! initially was at 16 degrees!! The very helpful night staff tried to increase the temperature but didn’t work and I had to shiver the whole night as there was a draught coming through the windows too. i have added a picture of the room thermostat in the morning despite putting the temperature up to 24 degrees at 12 am! the night staff did offer me a portable heater but those give me a bad headache and a cough and i had to refuse it. In a hotel of the Hilton group stature i feel this is unacceptable and I could not sleep the whole night! I mentioned this to the service manager in the morning and she gave me the email address of the general manager of the hotel whom I emailed with not even an email of acceptance or apology! I find this unacceptable for a hotel of the Hilton stature and I demand a refund.

The room was small but clean and comfortable. They nicely managed to accomadate everything a room needed in the small space. The staff were polite and really helpful. The cocierge was so kind to bring soap to our door himself when we ran out of it after hours.
