Just wasn't expecting carpark view, that was a little disappointing. Dripping drain pipe which we consistently heard all night & then next morning.

Great position near beach, shops and restaurants. A sea view room is the pick and not expensive. Lovely coastal walk nearby and good proximity to Geroa and Gerringong. Rooms were clean and tidy, staff at reception courteous and welcoming.

Booked the studios and we were very happy! Thought they would be one large room but it was great! Two bedrooms, one king bed and two singles in the other bedroom. Lounge area, kitchen and bathroom with washing machine etc. Was very clean and comfortable...perfect location for us!

"Best of two worlds, beaches and countryside"
A very pleasant experience, clean and fresh room nestled in the hills with a view of undulated country side.... little slice of paradise. The bed was one of the most comfortable, Hilton level of comfort. The service was friendly and the hosts were very helpful.

Grand Hotel Kiama - Kiama Hotels

Grand Hotel Kiama

"Grand Hotel, Kiama"
I was left to my own devices when I arrived. No-one to explain anything like which bathroom to use, etc. The bathroom I used had a sign which said "Ladies" but it was partially obscured. I think because there was painting going on. However, men seemed to be using the bathroom and toilet quite happily. I did take a chance and had a shower there the first night but also visited the toilet during the night to discover it was occupied, by a man. The next morning the housemaid told me about another bathroom signed "Ladies" which was actually closer to my room. It did not seem to be being used by the men so I felt a bit more relaxed after that. I expected noise (karioke, band, etc) however it did not keep me awake.

Kiama Harbour Cabins - Kiama Hotels

Kiama Harbour Cabins

Blowhole Point, Kiama - Map
"Good location and comfortable cabin. "
Most aspects of accommodation quite good. Unfortunately the bbq did not work . Some of the deck chairs were broken and there were broken glasses in the kitchen. Just little things that made it look a bit tired given the price. But overall it was good because of the great location. We enjoyed walking around the harbor in the evenings and swimming in the rock pool in the mornings. Also the farmers markets and fish and chips nearby. We would definitely stay again.

    Accommodation In Kiama

Kiama is a popular coastal resort with a rich and vibrant history. Stay in our Kiama accommodation and experience this delightful region for yourself. From its early beginnings as a Cedar getters camp, Kiama has developed into a thriving beachside destination with a number of attractions and activities on offer.

Kiama’s coastline is made up of sandy stretches of surf beach, rocky outcrops, and sheltered coves. Use your Kiama hotel as a base to explore everything the Kiama coast has to offer. Visit the rock pools that occupy either side of Kiama Harbour, cast a line into the harbour and try to catch your lunch. If you don’t have any luck, don’t worry, the harbour offers some excellent places to try the local seafood or just some take away fish and chips.

One of Kiama’s most famous attractions is the Kiama Blowhole, which the regions name is derived from. The Indigenous word Kiarama is believed to mean "where the sea makes a noise", and there is no better way to describe the blowhole. It is not to be missed during a stay in our Kiama hotels and can be viewed from special viewing platforms that have been purpose built on Blowhole Point.

While staying in our Kiama accommodation you will notice the beautiful historic buildings that surround you, including the Post Office, well known for its bright pink exterior, which takes pride of place on the main street of Kiama. This beachfront strip is lined with shops, cafés and restaurants many of which are housed in some of Kiama’s original buildings.
