The facilities were of a high standard and well maintained. The view was very scenic and interesting with the geese and ducks wandering around. We walked all through the complex and were very impressed with the camp kitchen and layout of the sites.
A walk into the main street got the blood running and even though it was a cold day we managed to sweat a little. We were lucky with the weather as the sun was shining as well as being cool but that is what gave the day a mystic feel. We had dinner on Saturday night at the restaurant with our extended family and the meal was just beautiful. I would highly recommend this venue to all our friends who just want to chill out in a relaxing environment.
The Haus Studio Apartments were exactly what my husband and I were looking for in terms of accommodation. It was perfectly located (with a fantastic wine cellar door/bottleshop across the road!) and the room itself was new, super clean, well equipped and in fantastic condition. King bed was amazing and the shower was like having a massage! Good size too, didn't feel too small or too big, just right.
"Central location, easy parking, value for money."
The location was good. Check-in offsite, but nearby. Easy parking. Confused about the name. Changed to "Zorro's" we think. Could be confused with Hahndorf Hotel/Motel. Had everything we needed. Appreciated use of microwave oven. Comfortable bed. Good low-fee accommodation. Has an adjoining door to next unit, perhaps to make room for families.
"Much needed relaxing getaway in beautiful gardens."
Peaceful, relaxing, beautiful room, lovely views and a short walk to the middle of everything. Our hosts were excellent: gave us clear directions about how to get there late at night after our planes were delayed, and even offered to collect us from the airport. And when we arrived everything was ready for us to come in, relax and unwind - including an excellent selection of Teas and Coffee, some tasty local treats, and some much appreciated local Port. Having the 'breakfast basket' already in the room made it very easy to have a relaxing breakfast at the time that suited us - and after a late arrival the night before, with the peace and quiet, we'd slept through much of the morning! And when we did open the curtains, the views across the fields were only interrupted by lots of colourful galahs, lorikeets and other birds.
