Elevator didnt work, hotel was dirty, floors will full of scratches like an animal had scraped them up. Room smelled musty and was dirty, beds lumpy and uncomfortable. Dont stay here!

Not worth it

I booked this hotel for the waterslide and pool. The day before my booking i get an email that the water slide is closed for service. Ok fine the pool is still open. I get to the hotel to check in and the elevators are down for maintenance. Great! I get to my room for the night and try to lock tge dead bolt and it didnt line up in the door and would not lock. This was not a good stay. I would not stay here again. The staff was friendly and offered a 10% discount.

The bed was comfortable, the room was small but fine for what we needed but it could have been cleaned better and it was extremely hot in there. The air conditioner didn't work, just blew warm air and was extremely loud. The pillows were terrible and when we asked for more they said they would bring some up and no one came, went down and they wouldn't give us 1 more. The breakfast was basic, with cereal, bagels and fruit. The waterslide was down and won't be working for awhile, so if you're booking for their pool I would call first. I won't be staying here again.

Dirty and disappointing

This hotel was very disappointing. Prior to arrival we received an email that the waterslides was broken. Upon arrival we were informed the elevators were also broken. Building has signs about additional security everywhere, giving the impression the building was not safe. Had booked two adjoining rooms for large family. Rooms were beside each other - but not adjoining. Rooms had strong odors. Bedding had stains, and when checking to confirm no bed bugs - discovered cigarette burn holes in mattresses. Walls in bathroom had dirt drip marks down them. Bathrooms were not stocked with towels, only 2 incomplete sets of towels in each of the two bathrooms (2 rooms booked) - we paid accommodations for 5 people. Bathroom caulking had mold growing. Free breakfast was a small room crammed full of people, with only cereal available as everything else had been cleared out prior to our arrival at 9. Breakfast was served 630-10am as per front desk. Travelodge, you let me down.

Try harder.

Bed was comfortable but you can see sloppiness around the building. Got into elevator after guy had just washed the floor. There was a bar of Irish spring he never picked up and garbage in a corner. Had a massive dog that kept howling in the attached room next door, could not hear owner disciplining the dog.

Think twice before booking here with a family.

When we checked in the place was full of people partying, they were drunk and loud. Clerk and securty gaurd were friendly. Wouldn't go outside alone here at night! Elevators out of order, water slide out of order, hot tub out of order. Complimentary breakfast was good.

The slide is broken, the elevator is broken, the non-smoking room smells suspiciously like smoke and febreeze, the fixtures in the bathroom nearly come out of the wall when you turn them on, the electrical outlets let plugs slide out or don't have power, the tile in the arcade is cracked, the ceiling shows water stains, the doors between adjoining rooms are paper thin, and everything looks tired. The staff were helpful in switching our room for us, but it can't make up for the rest of the facility. We will not be returning.

Run down need of desperate repairs

When I went to check in I was informed that the waterslide in the pool area was not working as well as the elevator in the building. That's fine things sometimes happen I understand. Our room was in desperate need of repairs, the bathroom has no water pressure and you could barely wash your hands, we did not even attempt a shower. The television has 6 channels 4 of which were French and 2 news. The bed frame was so loud and squeaky that even simply sitting down on the bed made noise. There was a giant spit light on the top of the building that shown directly into our room at night so even with the blinds and curtains closed it was to bright to sleep. There was very little sound proofing as we could hear full conversation of the people across the hall in their rooms. Needless to say we did not get any sleep.
