We arrived fairly late and had to leave early. But then the alarm clock went of in the middle of the night. First we were confused because no one had set the alarm then we got frustrated as we couldn’t get it turned off. Also there was a bad smell in the hotel. From the lobby over the hallway and also the room. It just didn’t smell fresh at all. Overall a stressful night.

I woke up in the middle of the night with itchy welts on my arm and side of face. By morning, the welts were so massive it looked like I was hit hard in those areas. I can only surmise that this was from some kind of bug, likely bed bugs. I don’t think dust mites could cause such massive welts on the skin.

It was -30 degrees when I was staying there. The thermostat was not working at all (cold inside the room) and the air con wasn’t working at all either. Kind of difficult to breathe at night. Other than that, the room was clean and the garbage was empty every 2nd day, which was very nice. And towels were changed the 3rd day that we were there. Very nice. Thank you.
