Not many spots in central Edmonton don’t charge for parking so that’s a big plus here plus it’s secured and covered. Only downside to Varscona (other than some construction which will be resolved soon) - Breakfast is no longer included. It’s $15.99 and not super worth it. Pop into one of the many local restaurants within walking distance instead

The access stairwell to parking smelled like urine. This was probably due to the pub next to the hotel. Wouldn’t feel safe on my own going to vehicle.

Great location, friendly helpful staff. Room was excellent. Bed was amazing. I staying in a king room. Wonderfully fresh sheets. The bathroom was just ok, could use an update & better cleaning. Shower grout had mildew.

We checked in- the lobby was not maintained...quit dirty. Once we got to our room I opened up the curtains and there was a dirty pair of socks and part of a wine cork. This hotel was recommended to me and I am not sure why. It was very dated. Very dirty. Overall not a good experience at all. Will not be staying here again.
