They are updating the hotel so there is tremendous interior construction happening on the floors - my room was completed but I heard drilling on the floor above me. No coffee pots in the room and do not plan to provide them.

Had no idea the hotel was under construction, we would not have booked our stay if we knew that. All dining areas were closed so they only offered room service if you wanted to dine at the hotel. The lobby had walls boarded up with construction happening on the other side. You could hear hammering during the day in our room. One of the two elevators was completely covered in cardboard and what appeared to be duct tape, we were terrified to step onto it as well as other guests we witnessed not wanting to get on that elevator. We spoke with other guests and they agreed they wouldnt have booked if they knew the hotel was in these conditions. Construction makes sense.. the hotel seems pretty run down and in need of updating. The furniture to the walls were pretty banged up, bathroom surfaces stained yellow. My other complaint is that Valet is the only option for parking. I may have misread but I thought valet was AN option but it’s the ONLY option, costing an extra $44 a night, that’s steep for the quality of stay we had. Speaking of valet, the drivers were nice. They were the only employees who spoke to us during the stay, every time we walked by the front desk not ever a hi, good morning, good evening. The only saving grace was the location.

Undergoing renovations. After checking in we went to our room and it was not completely finished or ready to have guests in it yet. So they ended up giving us a handicap room that was smaller not quite what we paid for. We got a rollaway bed which did not fit. They had to come up to move furniture around and take some out so we could fit a rollaway so we were not happy with that situation. But the room was nice. I’m sure when the hotel it’s finished, it will be awesome. Everybody was really nice. We just weren’t happy with how we ended up with the room we got, which was less in size and amenities than what we had booked.

There was a remodeling going on. The whole hotel smelled like paint thinner. There was no microwave in the room. There was no non-valet parking at the location. Staff was nice. Room was small but fine for an overnight stay.

I wish I had a better review to write for our stay. This property is going through a “refresh” and while I understand they still have a business to run, I wish they would have told us this before our stay. We got there and there wasn’t water running for 4 hours - couldn’t even flush a toilet. There was construction noises most of the day and the elevators were soooo slow because of the workers going up and down. The water in our room was basically grey water. It was cloudy to the point it looked white and it never settled. We had to brush our teeth and wash our face with water bottles. One night we asked for more water bottles and the staff told us there was no more available at the front desk and that housekeeping was gone for the day and locked everything else up. He had to go to the kitchen and get us a bucket of water. Finally, the staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful. They made it feel like we were out of line to ask for accommodations and someone to speak with. I also heard the male front desk staff making grunting (almost gorilla) like sounds as people walked by on more than one occasion. Such a bummer because the hotel is convenient with great amenities near by but I’m not sure I will ever be staying here again.

Outside and public areas look great. But room was outdated, with worn furnishings. Inconvenient outlets. Free WIFI required sign-up with Hilton Honors first (terrible). Black mold on shower ceiling. No parking except $45/nt valet - literally none else. But parking valets very nice people and helpful. Check-in staff helpful and friendly.

Under renovation. I was not made aware of this! Way under staffed. Valet only and absent valet. Rude evening desk clerk told me to wait 20 minutes for valet and wouldn't take my keys. Parking is $45. Good restaurant and morning staff. Wouldn't have booked if I was made aware of extensive renovations.
