Water in our room
Our stay was overall very good. The hotel was very busy due to a baseball team staying there. The breakfast team stayed on top of it and food never ran out. Unfortunately it rain an entire day on a day if our stay and water got in our room on the 1st floor. We had standing water and one of our suitcases with clothes in them got soaked. We informed the front desk and they treated the situation with no urgency. We informed them at about 5pm and nobody came to check on the situation until 10am the next day. They sent a guy with a carpet cleaner. He was there for less than 5 minutes. We never heard from management about rectifying the situation. We ended up leaving a day early due to the room smelling like mildew, si we were out a night stay as we had a non refundable room. Im assuming this isnt the first time this has happened. Since they did nothing to fix the situation.

Our family really enjoyed our stay here. Everything was great and every one of the staff I had spoken to was very helpful and friendly. The beds in our queen suite seemed smaller than actual queen beds, but I'm used to a king size and everything looks a lot smaller in comparison. They weren't the softest, but they were comfortable! Housekeeping came in the 2nd day for a room refresher and it really blessed me that when they made up the beds, they also folded and arranged our granddaughters' personal blankets, pillows and stuffed animals on the bed they were sleeping on. It was very sweet and I appreciated it so much! Every part of the hotel was clean, the breakfast was sufficient with several choices (scrambled eggs, sausage patties, grits, fruit, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, juices, milk, coffee). We would absolutely stay here again!

We reserved our room probably close to 10 months in advance and we requested a king. Upon arrival we were informed we got 2 queens. Just seems strange that we booked months ago and couldn’t get our requested room. Parking lot was small and only a few spaces to spare in the evening. Breakfast was a little disappointing but if you’re a bagel or oatmeal fan, it looked nice. Room was clean but we could hear everyone coming and going outside our door. Mini fridge didn’t get very cold at all. Elevators always smelled like cigarettes. I would say it was a little expensive compared to other comparable hotels. Staff was very friendly.
