The hot water starting going out at the hotel on Friday, by Saturday morning there was no hotel available and no one had any information when it would be restored. I tried 3 times to reach the front desk but no one answered the phone until Saturday morning. They offered a discounted rate of $45 for the nights of my stay but I really feel we should’ve been refunded the complete amount of the stay due to the lack of communication and the nonchalant response from the staff. Considering the area where the hotel is located, it’s definitely time for a serious remodel and upgrade.

The water in the shower was cold for the whole stay, and staff didn't seem too concerned about getting it fixed in a timely manner. Some outlets and lights in the room didn't work, used soap was left in the shower. Many chairs and tables in breakfast area were in bad repair. Otherwise, the room and beds were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was pretty decent.

The only tjing that kept this hotel from being a 5 star across the board was the shower. For two days, there was no hot water, and it wasnt until I was checking out that I was informed about the problem. Not to mention, the lady at the front desk came off as if she could really care less.

Receptionist was wonderful and greeted us with a smile. She recommended next door “Shake Shake Seafood” for dinner and it was wonderful, get a lot of food. Only thing was that the room phone didn’t work.

The staff was great. Room was clean and cozy. I did enjoy the lovely grrenway across the street. It made for a pleasant morning walk. I would absolutely stay here again.
