This is our 5th visit, we stayed 7 days. Staffing is down about 50% with 2 servers most days for the entire beach and pool. In a swim out room we could not get drink service on the weekends - no staff. Food choices and quality has diminished. Housekeeping, waiters, desk staff are all excellent - just not enough. Previously there were 6 or more staff for the beach and pool, now 2

Our experience at Sunscape Cancun started on the wrong foot and unfortunately, never recovered. After an early morning flight, we arrived at 3:00 PM, expecting a seamless check-in, only to be told our room was not ready. We were asked to wait in the lobby for over 30 minutes, which is completely unacceptable for an all-inclusive resort, especially when check-in is clearly stated as 3:00 PM. This stressful and frustrating delay set a poor precedent for the entire trip. ​When we finally received the key, the disappointment continued. The "Deluxe Ocean View" room was tired and dated. The air conditioning unit rattled loudly, fixtures in the bathroom were loose or cracked, and the overall cleanliness felt superficial. The bed was very squeaky and not in good condition. It was clear the room was showing significant wear and tear that far outweighed the price we paid. ​The service across the resort was consistently indifferent. Trying to get a drink at the pool bar involved a lengthy wait, and staff frequently seemed disinterested in helping guests. Requests made to the front desk or concierge were often forgotten or required multiple follow-up calls. The 'all-inclusive' feel was constantly undermined by the slow, painful service. ​Dining was also a major letdown. The main buffet was repetitive, low on quality, and felt chaotic during peak times. The food was lukewarm and uninspired, leaving us counting down the days until we could eat elsewhere.

This was our second stay at this resort. Had a great time both times. Beach is always nice and good was great at this price point. Staff is always friendly and trying to help. Brenda, our housekeeper, was awesome. Servers Fermin, Javier, Humberto, Julio, Raul, Alfredo, and many more, were great. Front desk Josefa was very helpful. Food court hostess Lucia was beyond nice, always a smile and good attitude. Looking forward to visiting again.

My daughter anf I love this hotel. We felt very safe. The lobby is open and smells very good. Our room had an amazing view to the ocean. The building is being remodeled but we didn't notice any noice, debris or workers around the property. The food was amazing and it was fun being able to enjoy 5 different restaurant with a 5 start customer service. There were two things i would change. One, the people from the hotel trying to sell you share time and the workers from the spalso trying to sell you a massage. We did buy a massage from them and we were disappointed as we didn't received exactly the services we paid for. We recommend this property for your next trip to Cancun

I went to celebrate my son’s bday. It was very clean, they did house keeping everyday. They had different areas for kids to play/swim. The buffet staff were very nice, they even went out of their way to make something specifically for my toddler to eat.
