Hello there, it was a great experience but I give 3 stars rating because firstly, was promised a free bottle of wine because I’m a silver member, which I never got and secondly found a roach in our room. But besides those two obstacles, everyone was very friendly and everything else was great….especially the service and food was awesome, I would visit again and would recommend to anyone! :)
The check in was a mess, though they give an early check in into the resort, we did not get our room clean and available to 5 PM. The checkin staff do not provide any details regarding the dining options/reservation timings or shows or other facilities. You see lot of staff walking around but they are least helpful. It is confusing as they have different levels and not everything in the resort is available to everyone in the resort. The Buffet food is horrible and repetitive.
The good part of the resort is the beautiful beach, the garden and the resort is beautiful as is. In the Dine in restaurants the food is really good and the staff are really friendly but a long wait for the reservation.
I had a fantastic overall experience at Oasis Cancun during my vacation—the resort itself is stunning, with breathtaking views that made every moment feel special. The food was decent and offered a good variety for an all-inclusive stay. That said, some staff interactions could use some real improvement; the towel personnel were a bit rude, along with some restaurant staff (Sarape restaurant) and the tour and beer staff came across as unfriendly at times. On the bright side, the two young lifeguards and lady lifeguard thank you for helping my mother in law who suffered fainting you guys were exceptional and truly went above and beyond, overall for an all-inclusive package, I'd expect a friendlier vibe from the team to match the great location. I'd still recommend it for the views and vibe! - Jorge & Jessica
The room was clean, we loved the amenities. Just as a recommendation book the restaurants even before your arrival and for the hotel you should score people to their rooms as it’s very easy to get lost and help people with their luggage, it’s a long walk
The hotel was clean and very close to everything. The service however wasn’t the best. The workers looked annoyed when my mom (not a native English speaker) asked questions about the food due to her dietary restrictions.

Over booked the hotel. When we got to hotel they had to send us to a different hotel location. Next day our room was not ready until 4 pm.
Room was not restocked with beer, Toilet paper or tissue box.
Buffet food was repetitive.
Was only able to make reservations for 2 restaurants out of my 7 days.
Room, food, drink quality were poor to average. Staff was very good (friendly and helpful). Almost impossible to get a chair by the pool.

I paid for a garden view room and they changed my room when we got there I was supposed to be in room 4648 facing the garden and the pools instead they decided to send me into room 4143 basically the room that they don't give anybody unless it's a one night cuz it faced the parking lot and I had a nasty dirty air conditioning unit right underneath me where in the end I ended up getting sick why pay for a room that is a nice room facing something nice when you don't even get that experience and when Expedia try to contact you guys to find out why you ignore them so basically I paid for something that I didn't get horrible service on your part Grand Oasis I will definitely be telling people not to go to your resort. Showers didn't work had no pressure tried to take a bath and it took over an hour or two drain room stunk no face cloth no towels have the time never restocked the beer fridge didn't come and clean our rooms at all no blenders in anything the food was horrible the only place the food was good was in if you paid for it or you were in the pyramid and it doesn't state that you have to pay extra if unless you went to the pyramid if that was the case I would have paid the extra $100 to get into the pyramid where we could have gotten into anywhere couldn't even go into a coffee shop because you needed to be a pyramid member they favor Mexican before they favor any of the people that actually fly there from another country highly highly not worth the trip horrible

Room was bare, the food was absolutely terrible, The only thing edible was the restaurant who had to pay for which were actually very good. But they cost between 50 and $75 per person at each restaurant which means each day for both lunch and dinner. We are paying in an additional $250 just to have decent food that doesn’t make us sick.
Apart from the nice restaurants, all the other staff was very monotone and push pushing for tips the entire time. Even the people that had the upgraded black wristbands said it was impossible for them to get reservations to the nice restaurants which was interesting because when we were in there every day, there was plenty of empty tables. It seems like they were leaving space to upsell. We stayed for six days and the friends we met were staying for 13 days. Both of us are never going back.

Just left Grand Oasis after staying there for a week.
To start with the positive - overall the hotel itself is nice enough but the rooms are basic & need an upgrade for sure. Walls are super thin, you hear everything from the rooms around you. The pools are good & the beach is great - sand is soft, water is super clean & clear, no stones, hardly any algae.
Now the not so good:
- Honestly, I’ve been doing all-inclusives for 20+ years with my family & have been to many resorts all across the Caribbean. I can confidently say this was BY FAR the worst All-inclusive experience I’ve ever had. Overall the staff and service were pretty terrible and not helpful at all. Food was mediocre. Always line ups everywhere, couldn’t even get into a few of the “no reso required” restaurants cause wait lists were too long. Many empty trays that would seemingly never get refilled. Not much variety. The “special” restaurants were a bit better but good luck getting a reso. Got there on a Sunday, by Mon morning everything was full (earliest reso we could get was Fri & Sat before we left). Il Forno was good, the steakhouse was ok.
Towels were an unnecessary pain in the ass. They want people to check-out towels from their specific area. Even if there were other huts close to where you wanted to be, they’d send you back to your area. Several times the staff were away (I waited around 15-mins the first time this happened then started just signing myself out with my own pen if they were not present)
The hotel was overbooked. No hot water. No reservations available. Many restaurants were not included and we had to pay to eat. Is All Inclusive really? The staff didn’t make the room in 3 days, so no towels or shampoo. Awful. I am very sorry to have chosen this place for my family vacation.

My room was at the back of the property on 5th floor so it was more a view of the property then the beach. - no helped me with my bags - the bell hops just pointed in the direction I should go and my first night i was woken up many times because you hear everything. I even woke up at 8:17am to the maids coming into my room to clean. Never in my life has a maid come in at 8am. It was insane. Not staying here again

We paid too much for all inclusivity only for it NOT to be all inclusive! Do NOT eat at the "included" restaurants. Our room was smaller than expected, with constant water dripping from vent. Patio door wasn't secured causing a knocking sound throughout the night. Our best times were away from our resort, the Grand Oasis Cancun. Really disappointed
