The hotel is in a great location and has some nice amenities, like afternoon wine in the lobby. However, there was no one to assist us with our luggage and the hotel could definitely use some major TLC. The hallway carpeting is threadbare in spots, the shower curtain seemed old

Delightful stay.

Trip to Philly

Overall our experience with this hotel was very nice . Pros - location was spot on and most site seeing was in walking distance. We had a king comer view, which had a great view . Service that we used was the valet parking and the restaurant onsite. Negative- Being that this hotel allows dogs to stay which I don’t have any issues with that . It’s just requires extra cleaning of the room and having furniture replace . We had furniture that animal chew up the furniture which we could see the bit marks . Under the bed I couldn’t tell when the last time the floor was vacuum underneath it. I would’ve like to see a discount for guest that are staying to get a discount on breakfast at the on-site restaurant. It was very over priced around 22.00 just for eggs/bacon/potatoes Price per a room through the hotel vs hotels.com is night and day . Which is sad but if you do your homework you will get a better deal with going Hotels.com

The room was VERY small and uncomfortable Pictures on line do not reflect the real experience. The room was not clean - everything felt old and dirty. Door to the bathroom was not locking. Overall weathered and disheveled feel. We were charged $8 PER bottle for the filtered water available in the room for “mini bar food” When I booked the stay I was offered a free drink per guest per stay which was never offered or received. I am not planning on staying at Kimpton again.
