This was our first stay of many during our trip and was the best,from the minute we were checked in by Donovan I knew this place was special.Staff,and it didn't matter who was on front desk were kind and friendly,the rooms were older but well kept and the pastries and endless coffee at breakfast a nice touch.Situated in a lovely safe neighbourhood and walking distance to many eateries the Tangerine is a gem.Thank you to the whole team for a great stay.

This is an old-style motel which they have attempted to make look better by using midcentury modern stylistic elements. The floors in the rooms are not carpeted, and instead have concrete floors. The bathrooms are basic. I'd be find paying $125 for a room here, but not more than $200.

Disguised basic motel
I guess I was expecting more with all the outstanding reviews. Our room was tiny and dated. Wallpaper was peeling, beds were uncomfortable and the room smelled strongly of cleaning chemicals when we arrived, not in a good way. Only one luggage rack and no other place to put suitcases except the floor, which there was not much extra of. On the plus side, front desk staff were wonderfully pleasant, parking was free, and neighborhood was very walkable with good restaurants. Don Cuco’s next door was great. Also Priscilla’s coffee shop down the street.
