Unfortunately the website said there was a kids club. But we were told on arrival , there was none. And I took my daughter to this island on this premise. Also room was supposed to have two single beds and a queen. But had four singles with two uneven singles pushed together for the queen, very uncomfortable... food was ok but expensive. A cellphone did go missing, but was returned after two days of being missing. Unsure if was stolen but was just happy it was returned. I would not recommend this island to anyone with children, it’s a party island and does not cater for them even thou it says they do. Will return to Fiji but not this island

Terrible and expensive

Buffet food is bland and disgusting. staffs are unfriendly and most of them don’t really know what they do specially the lady who’s doing the tour bookings. I ask the prices for some of the tours and activities and she will just check her book/notes for 3mins and will tell me “I dont know” and then will smile. We booked scuba diving which she said its $340fjd for two people. We pay the 20% commission that they take from the total bill and We were told to pay the rest at Treasure Island as we will be transferred. When we arrived at treasure Island, we were told that they were charge us wrong and is $240fjd each. Luckily we took our card with us. We also booked a massage and is not good at all and looks like they don’t know what they do. AGAIN, STAFFS ARE NOT FRIENDLY. I’ve been working in hospitality for a long time and people from Beachcomber Island dont smile at all and they seems like they hate what they do. Drinks at the bar are really expensive specially cocktails and no one knows how to make a proper cocktail. The room was alright but expensive from what is it worth. Definitely not coming back.

Fab party island!

For a party island this place has done really well. It's a bit like a fancy backpackers and after reading other reviews (that it wasn't that great) I was pleasantly surprised. There were 4 of us girls from NZ in our 30s and we were all impressed. Rooms were very clean and well thought out. The buffet food was great for soaking up all that alcohol you're consuming - basic but tasty and loads of it! Omelettes cooked to order for brekkie was great. Staff are fun and welcoming and party with you til 2am. The beach is beautiful. Thank you Beachcomber!

Our room was within 10m of the water

Beachcomber was a great experience . Highly recommend . Only desapointment was when we had to pay extra $90 each when arrived as wotif didn't advise the meal plan was not included in the price we had already paid . Which made it more expensive than beachcombers online pricing

- ensure you know there's a compulsory meal plan of Fj$80 per day - Take lots of cash because there's a hefty credit card surcharge - No atm facilities - Keep tabs on what you've purchased or you may find sneaky extras on your final bill - Food isn't restaurant quality, but if you're not fussy you won't mind it - Lock your bags in the room - ensure meals, transfers etc is all paid for before you leave otherwise you my find yourself having to pay a little extra than what you should have - On your last day before catching a flight out of nadi , stay at a local resort in the main land to ensure there's no stress about catching the ferry from the island back to the main land. Everything is on Fiji time and it's likely you'll miss your flight - I drank tap water all week and I was fine

Fantastic place to holiday as you wish

Previous comments left me a little apprehensive about the visit. It was fantastic, a place where you can relax at leisure and party at night if you wish. Buffet meals, where tasty and nutritious. Thoroughly recommend it to anyone visiting the islands, well worth a few days stopover. Staff are very friendly and are very helpful, hope to go back again soon!
