Room was very basic apart from being a bugliw there wasnt anything else to it. Food was so bad on burger night there were no patties upon waiting for so long towards the end the chef brought some limited stuff to us. Chicken smelled ; eggs smelled. Apart from living on chicken nuggets and chips there wasnt anything to eat. Quite literally. Try asking them for Fresh towels and water. Its all a lie. Dont go here.

The staff are amazing and welcoming if it was for them I am not sure I would have enjoyed my stay. The pool is nice and the spa team is amazing. But unfortunately the resort is far away from alot of the tourist attraction and the resort decor is outdated. The bed is comfortable.

The resort was lovely. Daily room service was great except they kept forgetting to restock the milk. Would not recommend the horse ride unless they improve the cleaness of the trail and the condition of the horses. The game area - table tennis, darts etc- was a great space. Loved the deck chairs and ocean views. All staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful.

What made my stay incredible was definitely the staff at Doubletree, everyone was very friendly, approachable and willing to help. Kesha was especially great! The pool was nice as there were a few different areas to swim to. The only thing which would have made it even better would be access to a beach from the resort as the one attached was not recommended so had to travel to a few islands to get better access to beaches which was a highlight anyway. Great overall stay!

It was an amazing and rewarding experience. The atmosphere was wonderful. The beach however due to its black sand beach was not ideal for swimming, although the seawater is warm n nice. Do try the pizza, it’s delicious. I had chicken pineapple and grilled chicken and lamb. The chef was great at Tavu menu. Some miscommunication with breakfast but it was immediately sorted out. Received discounts. All the staff was wonderful. Thank you chef Ranjilin for the nice breakfast and Jim for the wonderful hospitality.

It’s ok- would not stay longer than 1-2 nights. Room super far away, beach is bad and our “beach view” was mainly of a wall- bures share a wall so can hear everything. Nice common area though and staff is sweet and helpful.

We checked in around 7 PM and unfortunately only one front desk agent was working, so it took quite a while. Our booking included late checkout and in-room Wi-Fi, but the agent told us Wi-Fi required Hilton membership and seemed unsure about the late checkout. I had emailed several times prior to arrival via Hotels.com and their official site but never received a response. Our beach bure was clean and comfortable, but lighting inside the room was poor. It was set back from the ocean, with two other bures in front of us — though we could still see the water from the patio. If you’re expecting turquoise waters and a postcard-perfect beach, this may not be the resort for you. The beach area near the pool is nonexistent — to reach any beach access, you have to walk to the far end near the horse stables. The water is murky due to river outflow and mangroves, and the sand is more like soft mud. That said, the massages were excellent, and the horseback riding was a lovely experience. Themed buffet dinner was okay, but breakfast was very good, and the swim-up bar was a highlight. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful overall, but communication and beach expectations could be improved.

way over priced for what you get

Exceptionally disappointing, paying 4 star prices to discover its 2 star quality, the redeeming feature is how nice the staff are they really do make this place better. However The photos on line must have been taken when this resort was built at least 20 years ago. The rooms are very tired all need a big make over, the villas are large and thats the only good feature, despite paying for a beach front villa they had aligned the wooden door and opaque glass to the front so you can only see the water through a very small window, some of the villas have sliding doors to the ocean which are better and its worth requesting this. no USB plugs, furniture all looks old and stained. No sun loungers on the large balcony only a table and upright chairs . The social areas are ok, the pool is ok, after watching a big bunch of men spend 6 hours drinking beer next to the swim up bar without getting out i was not tempted to get in. There are plenty of loungers and the staff will bring drinks, but if you walk around the resort edges you see lots of rubbish piled up dilapidated buildings. The food is pretty bad, very few vegetables are used at any time. lots of deep fried and creamy dressings. (the seafood buffet night is an exception that was pretty good. You cannot pay with cash so you have to use a credit card and they pass on the 3% fee. We were so disappointed we forgo the last night that we had paid for and moved to the Sofitel . which was actually cheaper and a heck of alot nicer.
