We recently stayed here and overall had a good time, with a few helpful things to note for families.
Dining:
All restaurants fill up quickly when it rains. Best to book at least a day in advance. The Asian restaurant was our favourite. The buffet was okay but very overpriced compared to other dining options. Room service is convenient but slow (plan for about an hour). Kids’ meals were good.
Facilities:
The pools are excellent—warm (29–30°C) and great for kids. The main pool is best for little ones, while the smaller one near the Asian restaurant is quieter. We were disappointed that adults aren’t allowed in the adults-only pool even when using a babysitter.
Kids Club & Babysitting:
The kids club is for ages 4+, and babysitting is $35 for 3 hours ($12 per hour after). You need to book at least 3 hours in advance. We had a great babysitter for our 1-year-old. Our four-year-old enjoyed the kids club, but one day he left and found us at the pool without staff noticing—so we didn’t feel comfortable using it again.
Rooms & Services:
They accommodated a late checkout to 2 PM, which was great—it let our one-year-old nap before the flight. Wi-Fi is very weak, so download any entertainment before arriving. Beds were comfortable.
Other Tips:
The spa is a nice area and the massage was average and expensive. Ask your taxi to stop at Four Square for water and mixers—it’s much cheaper than the resort stores.
