Check in was appalling. Arrived at 6.30am and would not allow us to purchase an additional night so we could get our room earlier after 36 hours of travelling. I sent a request weeks earlier to the hotel advising them of our wishes to do this. They then did not prioritise our room after check out and had to wait until check in at 3pm even though we sat in reception watching other people get their rooms. Would not recommend and wished we had of gone back to the Intercontinental where they know how to treat guests.

Due to our high occupancy we can not guarantee early check in however request was always noted for your room, since our check out time is 12pm, once guest has checked out then housekeeping can do room servicing which will need to be done with correct standard to be released to another guest, this is a reason for check in being at 3pm but if room the room is ready early we always give our guest room before check in time.We sincerely apologize for all inconvenience you have encountered during your stay and we do look forward to welcome you back in near future to regain our locality. Most of the resort is not 5 star post covid - the rooms were dated and not very clean, some had mould. The standard of the resort has decreased post covid which is a shame - some parts lovely others not so much. Hopefully it will improve now people can visit Fiji and we can support their economy to improve the standard of the resort in time to come.
