We stayed here on a Saturday night while visiting Adelaide, as we wanted a reasonably-priced hotel within walking distance of North Terrace. This is a boutique hotel with limited facilities, but the room was spacious and clean with tea/coffee facilities and a minibar with snacks. There is a restaurant on the ground floor which seemed very popular and a cafe a few doors down with excellent breakfast options. Car parking on the street was free after midday on Saturday and all day Sunday, so there were plenty of free parking spaces during our visit. Would be happy to stay here again.

There was a stain on my sheets which I wasn’t overly impressed with. I had to wait 15 mins at concierge for someone to arrive at the desk and check me in I then Had to transfer a $100 deposit which I had no choice in even though I had already paid for room already. And there was no one present at check out this morning at 8am to talk to about my stay

Okay but....

Bi-Fold windows facing the street are not soundproof because of air gaps,so trucks parked with their motors running had me waking up from 5am. There is no light in the entrance so any luggage items placed on the rack cannot be seen because it's too dark. Limited low light in the bedroom area is not conducive to using a laptop to catch up on emails. Power point for iron starting to come off the wall, spotlight bedside lamp didnt gice off much light, the iron had lots of grime. Good points: Coffee bags instead of instant coffee, well stocked mini-bar, water tap & sink and large bench opposite the bed. OK overall but looking tired and in need of a refresh.
