The hotel underwent a name change and re-branding into an economy hotel as of the 10th February 2021. We have permanently closed our restaurant down indefinitely; this was not a decision made lightly. We are now only offering a grab & go style continental breakfast served in biodegradable crockery and cutlery every morning that continues to serve toast, pastries, cereal, fruit, juice, tea and coffee. I am very sorry this isn't the breakfast you were hoping for, I will share your feedback with our management team.Overall, we sincerely hope your stay was comfortable and we do appreciate you sharing your concerns and honest feedback with us. Very old hotel. The aircon is noisy. The bed mattress was old and bed was squeaky. The building is d. No gym. No restaurant. Not even a phone to reception. I would not stay here again. Positives: the staff are friendly.

Hotel staff amazing couldn’t fault them, very friendly and accommodating. Location was perfect, easy to get to bars and restaurants. Public transport easily accessible

Just what we needed after a night at the Fringe. A comfortable bed, close to the East End of Adelaide and public transport in a quiet hotel for a reasonable price. Grosvenor Hotel would be hard to beat!

We were saddened to read that your room and the hotel was not up to expectations as while we are unable to deny the general condition of the room and hotel given its age, the hotel conducted a de-branding exercise in 2021 by removing the Mercure brand and returning the hotel to its original name the Grosvenor Hotel Adelaide to enable us to reposition it as an economy hotel in the twilight of its existence as the intention is to completely redevelop the property in the not-too-distant future.
