Sorry we didn't thrill you this time Dean! Dusty roads are part of the Outback experience but next time maybe you could enjoy one of our beautiful new cabins. We are very proud of the high standard of food served at the Woolshed restaurant but we do also offer the option of takeaway pizzas to enjoy with a few beers on the deck of your cabin.

Great accommodation in the Flinders rangers

Fantastic 2 night stay in spacious holiday unit, large deck to sit in the afternoon sun with a glass of wine! Lovely walks. Amazing dinner at THe Woolshed Restaurant, launch of their new Degustation menu! Thankyou Cameron & Shane. Good luck. Met great young musician Joshie Willow who was performing for the night. Lucky also to meet the owners Tony & Julieann Smith. A fantastic base from which to explore the Flinders Rangers.

Rest up after visiting the Northern Flinders Range

Pros: the rooms presented well and were clean and comfortable including the bed, this was a stopover for us having already been up a Arkaroola and Farina.
Having previoulsy been to Wilpena Pound and knowing the close proximity of Rawnsley Park Stn to the pound we made this a stop over for some R&R after visitng Arkaroola Stn and Farina. Whilst staying on Rawnsley Park Stn for 2nights in a self contained unit which was well equipped for those who prefer to do their own cooking etc, we had dinner one night at the resturant and the Lamb Platter for 2 was excellent although we both felt that the lamb curried pie could of been assisted with some form of gravy(could be just us). We did a helicopter tour of "Wilpena Pound Complete" which goes for 25mins we have seen a lot of the pound from the ground and wanted to see it from the air .Whilst my husband sat in the front and could see everything I did feel that my vision was restricited and thought that perhaps we could have actually seen better detail from the aeroplane as it goes higher but was on maintenance . We also id some self drive tours on or near the property and we went to the general store at the Caravan Park end of station picked up some supplies which were reasonable in price given location and we were also able to purchase diesel fuel which was cheaper then at Hawker.
