The room was lovely , spacious and clean . The property outside is run down and needs lots of attention. The potentially beautiful gardens have been neglected and are overgrown and dying . The photos on the website don’t really reflect the reality. The restaurant was not open during our stay

I paid extra for rose garden room. Tress and bracken out my window. Changed rooms and half dead roses (weeds etc) I understand may not be right season but I saw lots of roses elsewhere. Tiles in bathroom dirty. Chips in doors and furniture No bfast or any service. Reception closed. But on good side. Quite. Good location. Nice hot shower.

Beautiful area with amazing gardens. The rooms were tired looking, carpet made the room smell musty, the beds were uncomfortable and mattress definately felt old and needed replacing. No way of turning off the lights outside the room so was too bright inside the room overnight and the window coverings did not give full privacy and big gaps either side enabled people walking past to see inside the room. Staff were attentive and approachable. Good location and breakfast was included.

Please take photos off web site as they do not represent its current state. It is a motel with a rundown garden around it. Yes rate is good for what it is. Disappointing to see such a beautiful spot of South Australia be allowed to get to this state. What a shame.

Many of the reviews seemed quite negative, and we were initially hesitant at staying, but were very pleasantly surprised with what we got. We had a family room, which was large and spacious, and it was very clean and well appointed. Yes, the venue is old, but it is clean, everything works as expected, the internet was okay, and it is definitely worth the money spent. It's one of the cheaper venues in the Barossa, and I believe it is better quality than some of the more expensive places we've stayed. Lyndoch is walking distance (about 20 mins walk), and the grounds were also very nice to walk around. We were happy, and would definitely stay again.

We booked in for Friday night and Saturday night. The restaurant was closed friday night which was weird but my bad for not checking and the beds were horrible. When some one had a shower it was so loud that everyone was woken up, in the rooms either side of ours as well. All up not the best but probably what to expect for the price.

Have stayed at the lyndoch a few times, the staff are always polite and helpful, comfy bed and pillows always clean in the room, shower is great and breakfast is always lovely and the stay is reasonably priced. The outside of the rooms could do with a paint, but this place is great value for money. Also close to all the wineries . Thanks lyndoch hill. We will be back.

Size of room, quietness of surrounds. Didnt like the early morning noise of someone banging a lid or bin at 6am every morning, thats what it sounded like anyway. Shame the Chateau wasn't opened everyday,& closure of the resturant at Lyndoch. This could be a fabulous resort if the right Investor buys. & the highlight of the Barossa..

Room was clean, towels good, shower good. Staff (i think her name was Heather) very helpful. Grounds were overgrown. External structure of motel in state of disrepair. Deck off room was falling apart and dangerous. Pool was dirty, water was cloudy and not well balanced. Pool walls were slimy with mould and algae stains.
