Absolutely perfect from start to finish! This property is incredible. Definitely a must stay in Victoria! The grounds are like castle gardens. Stunning to wander around and smell the roses. Every staff member was so helpful and pleasant to interact with. The amenities were incredible! I am very picky and I loved their rose lotion! Food here is incredible! Our room view was so stunning from our tower suite! You can walk pretty much everywhere from this location! And they will arrange your transportation to any further attractions. The Old Spaghetti Factory is nearby and we highly recommend trying it! Our room was incredible and kept immaculately clean! Room services for meals is precise to your order and right on time! The entire staff goes way above and beyond to make your stay memorable and seamless! You won’t want to leave!

We ate every meal during our stay at the Empress. There is no better and the top highlight is; all 5 of us had the Halibut our last night. That never happens & I may never order Halibut again anywhere else. 😆 The staff at the Empress are the very best any where in the world and I mean every single one of them.

The place is beautiful and the room is spacious. We had breakfast at the hotel although it was not part of our booking. The bathroom was a bit small but nice. Overall the hotel is great. Would stay and would recommend it to all.

High end hotel BUT there was a step in the room between the main room and the bathroom that is a MAJOR safety issue in use of the bathroom at night- in my mind an otherwise fien hotel deserves a 1/10 for that room

Check in process was not very smooth - had to stand in line twice because I never received a text with my room number when we prechecked in. Room didn't have robes or slippers for pool area - housekeeping remedied that quickly, though. Splurged and got a "harbor view King", and the "harbor view" was technically there, but we were on the second floor so it was mostly a tree view.

My husband and I are locals from Saanich BC and I grew up in Cobble Hill and my husband in Port Alberni. The sevice was great, friendly and the food was excellent. My husband and I have been married 20 yrs and never had a honey moon.

Great hotel experience loved the cleaning services! The outside area was beautiful with lots of flowers and very clean. I love that it was in a location where you could walk anywhere!

Enjoyed our stay very much! Everything was first class, considering the hotel's age, and history of engineering. Friendly staff, as well as the shop keepers throughout the city. Cleanliness everywhere with Great restaurants and views.
