The listing and photos were accurate in terms of layout, but overall the home felt quite dated and didn’t provide a comfortable stay. The biggest issue was arriving to a house with no heat on—the indoor temperature was about 6°C and it took roughly three hours to warm up, which made for a very poor first impression. The beds also need updating, as they were quite uncomfortable. Another concern was that the property was advertised as a full house, but there was someone living in a basement suite with a temporary wall separating the spaces. There was also no lock between the shared laundry area, meaning access between units wasn’t fully secured, which felt uncomfortable. Overall, this wasn’t a great experience and there are some important updates and clarifications needed for future guests.
