Mexican Hygge

Well designed boutique hotel with amazing staff. Paola is an excellent host and will go to great lengths to make your stay the most efficient and enjoyable. The hotel size is perfect and anything that is missing here can be supplemented with their partnerships with other nearby small hotels (Radhoo and La Valise). This place is a gem and we will be back.

I love the aesthetics of the property! The rooms and location looked exactly like the images on Expedia. The food and drinks were excellent; I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Isabel and Eddie made our stay very comfortable.

Incredible! This is the BEST hotel in Tulum. SUPER quiet, VERY high end, very few rooms and spacious beach and pool. Breakfast is amazing and staff is THE best!

Stop reading the reviews and JUST BOOK IT!

AMAZING. Complete luxury service. The rooms are spacious! It's a small hotel kind of built like a house, so there's cozy common spaces and a rooftop which are not crowded - very easy to relax. The service is impeccable - you get in touch with the staff via Whatsapp message. We just sent a text for fries and aperol spritzes when we were by the beach in a cabana, and they arrived shortly. All the staff are so friendly and warm! The beach is clean. The breakfast included is delicious. Don't hesisate - book this!

Amazing stay at Xela! We love everything, but the most amazing thing was the attitude of the staff. Being a brand new hotel XELA may experience some minor issues (like bad pressure of the shower), but the way they solve these issues is just top level. Special thanks to Emily who helped us with everything and even provided with an upgrade of the room to solve this issue with shower! A bottle of wine as a gift was very nice! Rooms are perfectly decorated, we didn’t want to leave! Breakfast is very good with good coffee and choice from the menu. The location is great - it is in quiet place, sometimes we were alone in the sea! But due to free bikes it is easy to get to any places around. They also provide valet parking which is great, as it is not an easy task in Tulum. We can only envy ourselves that we stayed there: location, amenities, decor, vibe - everything was great! Do not miss sunset on their amazing rooftop!

Außergewöhnliche freundlicher Service sehr hilfsbereit. Sehr schöne Zimmer am Strand sehr gepflegt, trotz Seegrass wird täglich sauber gemacht, Handtücher hatten manchmal Flecken aber man erhält laufend neue und sehr viele Handtücher verfügbar. Absolut tolles Hotel und sehr empfehlenswert würde wieder kommen.

Grandioses Hotel mit tollem Personal. Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit im Xela Tulum und können das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Das gesamte Design des Hotels und der Zimmer ist enorm schön und von der Dachterrasse kann man sich einen wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang ansehen. Der zugehörige Strandabschnitt ist ebenfalls sehr schön. Alle Bars und Restaurants in Tulum Beach sind fußläufig sehr gut erreichbar. Zudem stehen auch kostenfreie Leihfahrräder zur Verfügung. Emily und das gesamte Team haben einen großartigen Job gemacht.
