The location was perfect as we were transferring to and from Union Station. The front desk staff were very attentive and helpful. The casual and welcoming entrance/ breakfast area was spacious and the coffee and breakfast was great.

Nice refurbished hotel (former “Strathcona Hotel” made hip and retro) very close to Union Station. Comfortable bed, and a nice coffee lounge in the lobby. My only complaint was the noise - there is zero soundproofing so you can hear every door slam, every conversation in the hallway, and all the street noise outside. I wore earplugs the 2nd night. Overall a nice hotel for the price and convenient downtown location.

Very nice modern hotel, with a great lobby bar and good menu. The only glaring problem is that the rooms have zero sound proofing. I could hear my neighbour sneezing. So, sadly I won't be returning, which is a shame as it's a nice place.

Staff were great, room is very nice. Perfect for layover the night before departure on VIA to the west. 5” to Union Station. A modestly priced quality hotel, something needed in downtown Toronto.

Our room was exactly as pictured in the photos! Very cute decor and had some great extra touches such as an electric water kettle, tea bags and instant coffee and a mini fridge. The only thing i disliked was not having a fan in the bathroom. There are water filling stations on every floor which made it very convenient to stay hydrated for free! Our package included breakfast at the cafe downstairs (The Humble Donkey) and instead of the usual hotel buffet, it was one made-to-order breakfast item off the menu + one drink. What a lovely surprise :) The hotel is located VERY close to Union station, which connects to the airport via train (30 min ride) and also connected to Metro Toronto Convention Center via the Skywalk/PATH. We will definitely stay here again!

The room is so small, you need to use the closet for luggage or you can't move around. The shower floor had hair from the previous guest. The elevator on the fourth floor bangs when it opens. You will not sleep without ear plugs. You can hear sound from upstairs, outside your door and all doors opening and closing. The room smells. It is in the walls.

This hotel is perfectly situated in a prime spot to be able to walk to the main touristy spots in Toronto, minus the zoo of course. The hotel staff was nice, check in was easy, and the room was clean and tidy. I will definitely be staying here again when I visit with family next time.

Very nice hotel, clean, close to everything and right next to union station. Would recommend to anyone needing a stay in Toronto especially those taking the GO train to commute back and forth from their home
