Staff is polite and professional but the service was long at the reception (check in and and check out, all is made manually). Rooms are well decorated but very small, not really practical. It’s really noisy, I barely slept. The AC/heater was extremely noisy and we could hear a lot of noise from outside. In other words, if you want to get some rest, Union Hotel is not the best pick. This is disappointing because this hotel is very well located.

The vibe and the decor are top shelf. The room, although on the smaller side, was well designed and equipped. Our only concern was the heater/cooling unit was excessively loud. It clicked on and off every 15mins making for a restless sleep.

The bed is very comfortable. The room is small. It is only 2-3 steps from the bed to the door. The gap under the door is large and you can see the shadows if people in the hall and clearly hear the people talking. It was not as private as my own bedroom in my own house. House cleaning also walked in on me at 9:55am while I was undressed. Clearly, housekeeping is not aware of who has already checked out prior to the checkout time of 11am. Overall it was adequate for sleep but not where I would choose to stay again
