The property is a very long way from the main Shinjuku station. There are other trains nearby, but often a 20-minute walk to Shinjuku is needed. The rooms are tiny but tidy. On our second day nobody came to clean one of our two rooms. There are four APA hotels within a block of each other. We went to the wrong one, because it had the same name, but with ‘tower’ after the name.

This property offers a great location if you want to explore the surrounding areas or if you want to take the JR line/ Tokyo subway stations to other parts of the larger Tokyo area. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was super clean and they always kept my room tidy which I liked. I would recommend staying here for going out to local bars as well, they aren’t too far from the hotel.

I don’t believe APA should be on Expedia as this is home away from home app the room was the smallest I’ve ever been in in 30 years hongkpng bigger I had to go and borrow 2 chairs from down stree to put out side room so could have coffee in morning Sorry my first bad review but needs to be said

Staff is super friendly, location is excellent for shinjuku area. This is a Japanese style hotel so the rooms are super small by American standards. Know that beforehand and enjoy the difference!

One elevator?

Basic hotel but comfortable enough. My room's window was frosted and had only a view of a building very close in front, but this made it super quiet. Only real complaint was a single small elevator, which was maddening in the morning. Not really adequate for the size of the building. A bit far from public transport as well. Super helpful staff, though
