Water was switched off for “scheduled maintenance’ at 10.30. Had we known this would happen we would have showered before breakfast. We were on a long haul flight and could not even wash our hands, let alone have a shower. Why did nobody tell us this was going to happen when we checked in? I understand that maintenance had to happen but just tell us, and we could have planned accordingly .

Hotel had a very large conference on whilst we were there. This took precedence over other customers. Bars were heaving, conference people blocking all the corridors with drinks in their hands, shouting, laughing and generally having a good time at the expense of other guests. Shower in the room not working properly - reported to management. Food quality well below what we normally get a thus hotel. Shame.

Staff were friendly and helpful and you cannot beat the location if you have an early flight from T5. I was only there for one night but would say that a major miss was that they did not have any plugs bedside. I don't want to have to get out of bed to access my devices.
