Very disappointing

I understand that this property is under renovation, but the hallways needed vacuumed terribly. There were bags of linens and trash that stayed in the hallway all day. Once in our room, the carpet had obviously not been vacuumed and we had no towels. Unfortunately, we checked in at 230 am and had prepaid for 4 nights, so we decided to stay. The bathroom and beds WERE clean. In the morning, we found that we had no soap for the shower, except the one small one on the sink, and the shampoo bottle was half full.

Understaffed Disaster

The lady at the front desk was complaining about how she wasn’t supposed to be there. Apparently they are short staffed, so short staffed that they were unable to clean the room they gave me. There were no towels, the bed was a mess, and the keycard from the previous occupant was still in the room. Since I was up since 2 AM traveling plus worked a full day in construction I decided to just deal with it. I slept in the one ok bed and my co worker slept in the chair. I tried to tell someone at the front desk when I was checking out, but there was no one there. I’ve sent an email but no one has gotten back to me.

Not what expected for the price

Definitely not what expected. Beds and sheets were clean but carpets were dirty and the room was pretty run down. Breakfast was not appealing after viewing the overcooked sausages and minimal other options we decided to skip it overall and left to go eat elsewhere. Did have to request late check out to return and gather our items which the front desk kindly approved.

When I booked the rooms (only a few days before the stay) I was not told that they were under construction. Our second floor rooms were definitely affected by the construction. Our room, 203, was engulfed in sheet rock dust. The door was covered in dust. Walking in the room, we were immediately aware of the thick air, inhaling the sheet rock dust. I could smell it before I started coughing. I have lung cancer and breathing issues so I needed to wear a mask in the room. I requested a different room but was told there was not one available. The front desk rep said they would have someone go in and completely clean the room and replace the bed linens. When we returned to the room, nothing had been done. I was unable to use my CPAP machine for fear it would clog up or cause me to breathe in the dust even more, so I had to sleep with a mask on. The breakfast wasn't what I had hoped for. The pancake machine was not working. The coffee was empty. The hot tub was not working either. I would not recommend this hotel and will certainly not stay there again.

This was the worst hotel/motel experience I’ve ever had in my entire life I’ve never felt so unsafe or uncomfortable somewhere. If I wasn’t from out of state I would have stayed somewhere else… the toilet wasn’t functioning unless fiddled with… only benefit no bed bugs.

Concierge treatment for a third of the price!

They are renovating the property but the workers were very quiet and respectful of guests- starting work later. Nick and Erica the hotel staff were informative, went out of their way to help or answer questions about the hotel or the Phoenix area. My family (staying at a Marriott ) did not receive this red carpet treatment. Nick promised that they were putting in hand held showers going forward with the remodel.

The shower door was broken, hair in shower, sink and on bathroom floor. Idea on bathroom counter from previous guest, sheets were stained and hallways looked like it hasn't been vaccumed in a few days. The breakfast was powder eggs and you had to ask for someone to restock everything like forks, plates, coffee and other foods. When i checked out they didn't ask how was my stay and i still have not gotten my deposits back.
