Very artsy funky ambiance of hotel. Rooms are loft style with high ceilings. Stayed for 3 nights, changed room on night 2 d/t screaming kid and unpleasant view (overlooked AC units). Hotel is in quieter part of the city of Phx - is not near a ton of restaurants/things to do but if you don't mind walking you can get anywhere within 10-15 minutes, or drive (note there are street parking fees). We had a car and used the hotel parking lot which was convenient -however we felt the $35/day parking fee was quite steep esp since we were guests. There is an open style restaurant in the hotel -food was good. Staff at counter for breakfast was exceptionally friendly. Wish they sold their coffee (Umbria) - was delish! I am also very grateful to the housekeeping staff as I left several valuable items close to $2K in the safe and realized this as I was on the plane heading back to NY. They held onto my belongings and everything I left in the safe was shipped back to me. I am so lucky and appreciate everyone's honesty.

Our stay at the Foundre was enhanced by the art galleries throughout the hotel. Special care was taken to provide high quality textiles for guests like the thick comfy bathrobes and the pool deck was emaculate and relaxing. The room was unique and again the attention to detail made for a unique and enjoyable stay. 10/10 would do again!

The hotel was a mess from the beginning! No service to help with luggage or parking the car. The desk agent was slow and disorganized. The room was not clean when we arrived and never was thoroughly cleaned during our two night stay

This place was very cool and the staff was great. There was local art hung throughout, and the rooms were sort of dystopian/industrial. The property was super clean and always smelled great. Parking was convenient. But for the price, they could have offered nicer coffee fixins. The Keurig didn't work great and they only had the cheap packets of sugar, sweet & low and powdered creamer (the stuff you'd find in a cheap motel).

Second time staying here. First time free parking, now $35 for self park and $45 for valet.Good luck trying to find a self park in the night. First time free water bottles in the gym, now there is not even a cooler, instead pay for water. I am guessing economic impact. Room felt very minimalist this time and poorly designed bath. Anyway, won't consider staying here again. Nice location though. Staff is friendly.
