Fun little spot on Walnut!

I basically used my time in Philadelphia looking for an apartment for a future move. This hotel was an easy and great location to stay and organize myself. Just a comfortable and convenient starting point every day. Would definitely stay there again while I’m working on my move. Thanks! (Great air conditioning, extremely convenient shopping and tourism district)

The room was small, which I was expected for a small hotel in downtown Philadelphia. The location is almost perfect, parking is very close, restaurants are in walking distance. The major issue which was so unexpected that was no hot water in the morning. I need to take shower in a freezing cold water. Was not a good start of the day. Even after waiting 15 minutes to get the water warm it was very cold. No such issue in the evening.

The hotel is near to a lot of restaurants, and some blocks from the city hall. There is public transportation nearby but a lot of places are walkable. The room was a bit old and requires some maintenance, but The air conditioning was too noisy! At least the room was cleaned every day. Th WiFi was terrible, didn’t work well at my room.

Guest Service NO formal training in hospitality. 1. Their Tone and Verbal voice and body language was hideous. I was given his information when asked on a ripped off piece of paper bag after I tried to defuse the situation. I wanted too take a picture and he literally almost jumped across the counter and snatched my phone OOMH.
This is what I received after asking for the Manager information. The Person was the Manager.

I’ll start with the positives … the hotel is quite literally in the middle of ALL the festive places that I knew I wanted to visit in Center City. So it was super convenient as commuting was always like 3 minutes on foot so I loved that. The room ITSELF was perfectly fine. Very cozy, but that’s okay as this was an impromptu getaway for me. Good location but SUPER noisy.

Location was good. and room was really spacious. However the air conditioning unit was SUPER noisy and the street noise was quite loud (had room 401). As for the parking it would be nice if the information on the web would outline that the available parking is across the street with in and out privileges As for the breakfast, it was the worst I ever saw. The hotel should not even bother providing it

This was a great stay. Customer service at this location is top-notch. I walked in *very* jet lagged and not thinking straight, and the associate at the desk got me checked in and on my way with a smile. The location itself is super convenient -- about 4 blocks from the metro, including the Airport Line Regional Rail, and with all kinds of food options right there. The room was very clean (even the top rails on the shower enclosure were dust-free), the bed was comfortable, and the grab-and-go breakfast is very generous. The "city view" room had a little street noise, but the air conditioner hid the sound. The building is a bit older, with narrow hallways and a small elevator, but that's expected given this part of the city. The price was very competitive. I would definitely stay here again.

Good luck dropping a deuce if you are over 6ft the glass shower is up against your knees unless you can do a split. Also, no drink options at all in the lobby? I asked for bottled water and he pointed at a water dispenser with 5 ounce cups. Good luck carrying enough water for 3 people back to the room.Lots of weed smell throughout the halls which I know is unavoidable. The rooms aren't bad and the bathroom is nice besides the toilet up against the shower. Convienent parking across the road for 55 dollars a night.
