Excellent hotel with prime location

You can't beat this location for convenience. It's directly connected to Osaka Station and you can walk straight through the station to Dotonbori district. So many food options in walking distance, including in the station, that you never have to go far to find great food. Location connected to the station can't be beat for travelling with your luggage or taking day trips to Kobe, Nara, etc.

Would stay here in the future!

We are traveling through Japan and this is the best hotel for the money we have been at so far. Rooms were around $200 a night and there was a small fee for a third bed. Very spacious and the location is unbeatable for Ōsaka. Fantastic breakfast buffet was included as was executive lounge access. Service was also amazing. Four Seasons level service. Our 12 year old son forgot to get his room key when we were out shopping and the staff helped him get another key and back into the room without even having to bother us. If they gave out six stars, this hotel should get it.

I can’t tell if this is a result of the new Accor ownership, but Swissotel unfortunately seems to have fallen down a bit from where it used to be. Still a good mid-tier choice with excellent location, but the morning buffet felt a bit like Hunger Games, hallways often smelled badly and while pleasant, the heavily non-Japanese staff don’t seem to bring the same world class service you’d find at some other places
