Not to mention they gave my room to someone else with the same name and had me stand there waiting for a room as they resolved something that wasn’t my problem. Then the supposedly renovated room was done very poorly. Not impressed at all.

First, the hotel name led my friend and I to believe that this would be a hotel. It is a motel. The entrance to the room is from the outdoors. This was something that we were specifically trying to avoid and were disappointed when we arrived. We made the most of the situation and kept all of the locks engaged while we were in our room. The motel property is actually very beautiful. There is a pool and a beautiful deck overlooking a pond with a water fountain. The assorted greenery made for a nice place to eat breakfast in the mornings, which by the way, consists of waffles and toast. It is only available from 6:30am - 9am and there is a very long line and very cramped. Luckily, there’s a Denny’s nearby so we ate there. For the finale, we were locked out of our room after coming back from a late night event and trying multiple sets of key cards. We were soaking wet since it was storming that night. At 3am in the morning we were given the key to a new room on the other side of the site with no dry clothing and no toiletries. The hotel staff still expected us to wake up and meet maintenance at our previous room at 8am and grab our belongings before checking out by 11am! Many frustrated conversations later, they agreed to a complementary extended checkout until 3am and agreed to let us meet with maintenance at 1pm instead. I was so frustrated that I asked for a refund. They offered a 50% refund for the last night. The staff was at least kind though.

The staff was very courteous and friendly. After checking in and going to my room when we got there the door was ajar. We found the room clean and no one insides the room but the door did not lock. We went and reported the issues and they then sent someone up and the lock mechanism was changed and the door was able to be secured. While it was a bit of a hinderance as we were tired and ready to relax after a long day a thw airport and flight in. It was handled fairly quick. With having to wait for the door to be fixed we decided to just order door dash. Unfortunately to no fault of the hotel some other guest took our order when it arrived. We were srill hungry and tired so we used uber eats and that was delivered no problem. I would stay again though. It was inexpensive, the beds were soft.
