The hotel is EXCELLENT! The staff and facility received 4 starts due to my last night in the hotel. My toilet was clogged after 11pm. The front desk clerk advised I come down to get a plunger, come down to use the bathroom on the first floor, while stating he has no other room availability and he was working alone. He assured me he would put the bathroom on the maintenance list for the next morning. I asked him what good would that do if I was checking out the next day and he expects me to come down in the lobby to use the bathroom throughout the night. Mind you there are two other ladies with me. I go down to the lobby after not coming to a resolution and lo and behold I am greeted by “another staff” actively working. However he stated he was alone. When I told him who I was he proceeds to go to the back and there is not a plunger. He tells me “maybe” it’s on the 2nd floor, I will meet you at your room. About 10 minutes he does come with a plunger and happily states, it’s fixed now and I will leave the plunger. I am a loyal Hilton rewards member and always give my honest feedback, so this propriety is wonderful, however this staff experience was not. He lied, there was another staff member working, he insinuated it made sense for me to come to the lobby to use the bathroom throughout he night, the disgusting plunger he left in the bathroom. Never turned around to sanitize the toilet after. I would definitely stay again, but improve maintenance protocols.
