The restaurant breakfast is pricey for how mediocre of a selection it is. Coffee was awful, and a side order of 2 tiny pancakes almost $6…..not worth eating breakfast there. The shuttle service is convenient. Only downfall for Epic last pick up is at 8:40, they should add another later slot at least if it closes at 10p.

Good location near Universal CityWalk. Because the path makes a big L and crosses a pedestrian bridge it took 25 mins each way. Hotel and staff were great. My 2 little quibbles were that the room doors are not self closing and could be accidentally left open. And when taking a shower the bottom of the bathtub was slippery. But good property at a good price. Would definitely return.

The staff were lovely, good location to the parks, very good Indian restaurant with value for money dishes. There was a shuttle service to and from Universal studios which was very convenient. The room was clean but the AC was leaking. There were wet towels out side the door and the leaking went down onto the stairs so as you walked down the stairs you had to dodge water falling on your head or clothes. Not pleasant but also dangerous as someone is likely to slip and fall. The room's front door had a gap so you might get visitors coming under the door and greeting you in the morning. I understand, it's an old hotel but perhaps needs a few updates now.

Close to universal. Great price. Let us in the room early! Pretty loud with the interstate literally right outside the door. Kids running around banging on doors at least 2 nights at 2am playing the little ding dong ditch game so security is weak (never saw a security guard the whole week). Grounds and rooms were pretty clean but needs maintenance. Best of the hotel is the Thai/indian/asian restaurant and bar located in the lobby. Ask for Ayeu. She’s great.

The room was ok however there was no microwave. And outside it smelled like sewage water… there was a leakage and it smelled really bad.

The property delivered exactly what it was designed to do. It was great value, clean and had courteous staff. The rooms were comfortable and the shower was good. Plenty of towels available in the room also. I would happily stay again.
