Whilst booking a “One Bedroom, one King Suite” I was not expecting to be in an “Accessible suite”, primarily for customers with limited mobility. The bathroom wash basins were lower than usual, the toilet seat was without lid, the shower had a chair in place and the hanging rail in the wardrobe was too low to take full length dresses or trousers! Was I expecting too much? Should I have requested a better room (even if I had to pay more?) I looked around 2 bedroom apartments on site and there was no comparison. Secondly, on the first morning having gone to bed with the safe not working, we asked for the battery to be replaced. Yes, they said and nothing happened. Thirdly, on the time for Thursday Night Football ( a regular event in a football mad crowd, I rang the front desk (8:15 at night) and asked what change TNF was on. The man on the desk didn’t know and didn’t try to find out (the TVs have many channels) Not impressed!
