The property is older and shows. I asked for a room away from the pool and I was still placed right next to the pool. The amusement park transportation was poor. Very limited shuttle times and the shuttle left us one day, because they wouldn’t wait 2 minutes for our brother to get to the shuttle, even though they were the ones late.

Room ordered on first night was not available. They gave our 2 room suite to someone else. They instead offered a one room, one bed standard room, for 2 adults and 1 child. Unacceptable! The front desk would not rebate the difference, nor help my son secure a room at another local hotel. Instead they gave him a key to the existing small one bed room, and he stayed outside the door till the others were asleep, then he snuck in at 1am and slept on the couch. When I demanded they make things right, the front desk (Daniel Corino) manager, twice hung up the phone on me. The next day another front desk agent explained to me that Expedia is their customer, not me, and they are only required to provide a room of any type. Wow. They eventually offered us free parking to compensate, but charged our credit card for 3 nights anyway. Wow. Again. I’m very disappointed by the whole affair. I called Expedia to ask for help, and I was directed to Howly, saying it only will cost me $1. But Howly charged me $35, and ‘their help’ was to refer me back to Expedia! Yet another Wow.

The property was very nice. We were able to bring our dog which is great! Breakfast was amazing! The staff was very nice. The rooms needed a little bit of an update and the furniture needed an update or a good scrub! The lighting wasn't that great either but otherwise a very nice place.

Poor Service

The room had maintenance done earlier that day and smelled like a bucket of nail polish remover was spilled in the room; when i called the front desk they acted like it was no big deal and i had to say multiple times it was unsafe. They originally told me the whole hotel was booked and they couldn't do anything they told me it twice and finially they magically found a room to move us to. When you trust a hotel to care and it feels like they don't its hard to give them a better rating then a poor.

Family of 5, stayed in a double queen and pull out sofa room. The pull out sofa is NOT comfortable for anyone to sleep on. Sleeping arrangements were tough. We ended up putting the sofa back as a sofa and my husband slept on it. Otherwise it was ok. Breakfast was a bonus, more variation/selection would have been nice.

We had expected a bus from the airport to the hotel, as well as a bus from the hotel to the parks. I caught and killed a cockroach in our room. Ugh. I requested fresh bedding for the sofa bed, after the bug incident, at the front desk. I had to ask two more times for fresh bedding. When it arrived it was only sheets, no fresh pillowcases or blanket. The maid (s) took away all the ceramic and paper cups and didn't replace them. We requested those twice also. The handle on the shower was so stiff we had trouble turning it. The toilet refused to flush/go down, the guy came and plunged it. Later, it overflowed onto the floor. Great. The evening snacks were adequate. The free bar's wine selection limited. The morning omelet guys were amazing! Quick, efficient, cordial. Wish the bagels and toaster stuff had been by the other breakfast foods. Wish there had been more pastry and gluten free bread. The Micky Mouse waffles were wonderful.
