Convenient with multiple services directly in hotel. Rooms are quiet, pet-friendly, nice pool and jacuzzi. The only thing is that bed sheets are a little rough but other than that, I’d stay there again.

Great location. Room was clean, with cosmetic defects (peeling paint, shower stains, wall art uneven, etc) it didn’t really bother us that much since we weren’t there most of the day. The convenience was awesome, it is very walkable to Universal, maybe 15 minutes, it was a nice stroll for us, but might not be for everyone. Starbucks and a couple of other restaurants are on site, there are also restaurants just across the parking lot, which made it super nice. The reason for star deductions is parking and breakfast. We were not told that parking is $33 PER NIGHT (not even covered parking) and breakfast was not included in the stay. We got a $70 bill for two people for a continental quality breakfast for one day. They call it breakfast buffet, but it’s very much continental quality.

I enjoyed the area. It has a lot of food options and you are able to walk to universal studios. The only thing I will say was during check in everyone was given water and cookies. Once I checked in I wasn’t offered. I also had a bad experience with housekeeping. He was very rude just because we grab a few towels.

Prime location to visit Universal Studies and lots of convenient restaurants and coffee at your disposal! Parking is expensive, though! It was $33 per day.

The elevators were too small and the doors looked like they had been forced open at some point. There are not enough of them, so we spent a lot of time waiting every time. Three small elevators for 18 floors is just not enough. They also charge $33.00 plus tax per night to park in their parking lot. This should have been stated clearly up front when reservation was made as it adds up. Rooms were clean. People were friendly. The restaurants that we got food from were good. It is a beautiful place to stay if you don’t mind high parking fees and small elevators.

Great stay at Doubletree. Took advantage of their free shuttle bus to Universal. Parking was a bit steep at $33/day. Room was spacious and clean.
