Apparently, somewhat newer refurbished resort, which we’ve stayed at under different ownership. For the price, everything was fine, apparently the bathroom was not renovated. All tiles rusted, gross grout. Otherwise it was fine.

It takes a lot to make me never want to return to a property but I think this place pulled it off. We arrived after midnight our first night after a day of travel. We were exhausted. Then we find that they had overbooked, they send us to a hotel 10 minutes down the road. It was a very nice hotel but after a day of travel it was the very last thing we wanted to do. What would they have done if we didn’t have our own vehicle? Plus we were only staying two nights so we had to check out of the new hotel at 11am and this hotel was not available until after 2pm. We had planned a lazy pool day with walking to Disney Springs in the evening. Kind of hard when you need to pack up and check out and check in in the middle of the day. We got some food credits but really we only got what I paid for as I paid for breakfast both nights so they gave us ‘extra’ aka the breakfast we did not get the first night that I paid for. Then we finally got settled and did our evening in the springs. The next day we woke to ICE cold showers. And went down to eat to some of the slowest service we’ve ever had. We didn’t even get a chance to use the ‘extra’ credits because we had to check out before we got enough food/drinks to even use them. The pool is not heated just as an FYI, it was cold, though not as cold as our morning showers. All of this with being a Marriott member so don’t think that will help you out at all. The only positive was the bellhop was very friendly and helpful.

Probably won't be back

On our first night our room temperature would not get above 65 degrees. A maintenance worker came up and determined that the heater was broken so we would have to move to another room. We were in a disability accessible room but when I called the desk and informed them of what the maintenance man told us, I was informed there were no more accessible rooms. We were given a regular room which we were able to use despite it being rather difficult and a little unsafe in the bathroom. I was informed someone would need to stay in the old room as only the new key would work. I had to leave my husband, who recently had a stroke, alone in the first room while I made several trips back and forth as I needed to be let back into the old room to gather things. It was also disappointing that NONE of the ice machines were working. We had to call and wait for someone to bring us a bag of ice or go to the lobby and wait in line at the desk. If you don't need an accessable room and don't use ice then it's fine. The staff was nice and the bed comfortable. The Keurig worked some of the time but they sell Starbucks in the cafe which is much better anyways.

Renaissance Spa Disney Springs went above and beyond my expectations. We had a check in time for four o’clock but our flight arrival was 8 in the morning. We arrived at the hotel around 9:30 and they had a room available for an early check in. This in itself was a plus which allowed us to get to the park earlier than anticipated. Thank you Renaissance for making our trip super magical! You rock!!!

After a long day, we were able to get two rooms last minute. The hotel as a whole was nice. It was quiet and we could realax and enjoy ourselves. My only tiny issue was there was a bit of mold/mildew on the shower wall, you wouldnt notice it unless you stared because it was in the gap between the wall and glass partition Orther than that, it was great.

The heat did not work in room. called front desk , engineering came to room and checked something in ceiling , said it would come on in 15 minutes, Did not. Froze all night. And to add , there were no extra blankets. The bed sham was like a sheet Terrible experience . In addition the bathroom floor was super dusty.

Hotel is convenient to get to and from Disney parks. The only “down” side is the unexpected fees. If you bring your own car it’s $30 a day for parking. We were also charged $50 a day for a resort fee. On Expedia it states it’s only supposed to be $90. Still enjoyed the stay, just wish the fees were explained at check in. Front desk clerk just asked for a card for “incidentals.” They were a little behind with check ins, so maybe that’s why.

I’ve stayed here before, before they remodeled. Loved it then. And love it now. The staff was very friendly. Ryan was the one who checked me in. Although the manager there wasn’t as friendly and was kind of rude. But otherwise everyone was so great. Rooms clean and nice. Beds were so comfy! And I love that it was near the resort and had transportation.
