I am always hesitant to write a negative review because I know this is someone’s business but being someone that reads reviews I feel it’s important to be honest. We were really disappointed with our stay. First, it was confusing when trying to gain access inside. There was a driveway on the side of the house, but you needed to walk around the other side to get in and park in the street. The house did not look like the pictures that were shown on Vrbo. The home to me was very old and dark, which is not what we expected. There was a bag of trash left on the back deck from previous guests, stained furniture in the living room (which I told my 5 year old not to sit on), and multiple large spiders in the bathroom. All of the bedding in all of the rooms needed to be replaced. They looked well used and were stained. The house is located close to shopping and the parks which was awesome but not the noise because it’s on a very busy road. I would suggest bringing ear plugs and a noise maker. It was nice to have a full kitchen with amenities such as a coffee maker but, we were left an open bag of coffee with maybe one tablespoon of grounds in it. Not even enough to make a single cup of coffee. There was a washer and dryer in the home which is always nice with a child but again, there wasn’t any detergent provided even though it stated there was in the welcome book. Lastly we booked this home because of all the 5 star reviews but unfortunately our stay fell short of that.
