I recently stayed at this hotel while visiting Orange County for a funeral. Unfortunately, the experience was not the most comfortable. Upon arrival, our room was extremely hot—over 80 degrees. We called the front desk, and they informed us that the system was having difficulties but should be fixed within 30 minutes. However, the temperature never improved, and we had to sleep with the windows open just to cool down. The next morning, while getting ready, we realized there was no blow dryer or iron in the room. We had to request them from the front desk and wait quite a while before they were brought up, which was frustrating given that we were on a schedule. On a positive note, the breakfast included with our stay was grea. While the service was polite, the lack of basic room amenities and the uncomfortable temperature made our stay less than ideal. I hope management can address these issues for future guests.

The key to my room did not work. I went to reception desk 3 times. They provide guests a key to get in & out of parking lot. A car behind, a person got out of their car to help me. My key did not work, so they used their key. So inconvenient.

My room.smelled like the carpet was flooded at one point, very moldy and damp. The front desk was rude at check in, then on my last night. They wont shuttle you to the airport. Which is 3 miles away. Breakfast was ok. The restraunt is overrated, you cant charge to a room. Just name it Red Roof inn. Definitely not an Embassy

The gentleman at check in was car sweet and courteous. Checking was fast and easy. Our room was fine except that the lighting was off and seemed kinda dark and the phone was not working. We let staff know but was never fixed. Other then that it was a great stay and breakfast was great!!

Noisy from freeway

Overall the stay was good. Our room on the 10th floor facing the freeway was a little noisy from the freeway. It was loud enough to prevent me from sleeping, had to sleep on the sofa in the living room. But everything else were good and especially the breakfast.

Hotel staff was very unhelpful and unprofessional. The heater was not working and they did not even have blankets to provide. When bringing the concern to the front desk they did not apologize or offer any other accommodations. There was also construction going on across the street and it was very loud and dusty.

Front desk offered late check out of 12pm. Friends arrived 1 hr after us and they offered check out of 1 pm. Next morning, tried to switch our check out to 1pm too since we’re going to the airport together and was told we had to check out at 11:30am, not 12, and that our friends would be charged $50 if they stayed until 1pm.

We always stay at Embassy Suites for the breakfast and clean/ comfortable rooms. We were a little sad that our room was not in the best shape and bathroom was in desperate need of repairs and cleaning. We went to breakfast the next morning to find an extremely long line for hot breakfast and hardly no option's for cold/quick and easy breakfast. The Emassy suites in Santa Clarita/Valencia sets the bar high on their breakfast! Maybe Santa Ana can get some tips from them. This property seems to be in the worst condition out of all we have stayed in.. not terrible but not good either.(some non working elevators) Fine for one nights stay...but stay elsewhere for more than that!

It was awful because the night we arrived they checked me in and i had to get a few new working key cards until i finally got to settle in. The manager had to walk me to my door to unlock it and make sure our keys finally worked. Our room was missing towels, soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Our middle door would not shut gently and looks as though it was karate kicked numerous times. The bathroom had painted over numerous kinds of hair strands and the floors were rotting due to moisture. The curtains were dirty and could not fully move without more force than a tug. We have stayed at many other Embassy locations and we went to the happy hour for some finger foods. They literally served 2 diff cubed cheeses, 1 type of cracker, and a baby greens salad from a bag, and 1 sauce. Woke up in the am for breakfast and they had some cereal, breads, drinks, omelets, sausage links, eggs (a scramble), and oatmeal. They had no dairy alternatives or substitutions of any kind. They ran out of everything. You are probably wondering did we ask to move rooms? Yes, each room got worse and the final one had no heating.
