Oakes hotel had arranged a different hotel to us due to maintenence of the room which I had booked. Hilton Niagara hotel and suite was the hotel which they replaced. This hotel was okay! Their was no wifi at the room.

Dear Expedia Team, We had originally booked our stay at the Oaks Hotel, but at the last moment we were asked not to check in and were instead transferred to the Hilton Fallsview. Unfortunately, this resulted in several inconveniences: The Hilton charged us CAD 377.44, which is higher than the amount confirmed by Expedia. We were instructed to park 500 meters away from the hotel unless we paid an additional fee to park onsite. We had specifically chosen the Oaks Hotel for its proximity and view of the Horseshoe Niagara Falls, which we did not get at the Hilton. While the Hilton itself was a good property, the unexpected changes, additional charges, and loss of our preferred view were very disappointing. Could you please review our case and let us know how Expedia intends to compensate us for the inconvenience and extra costs incurred? We trust that Expedia will take this matter seriously and respond promptly.

Was looking forward to our stay at the Oakes hotel, booked a premium room looking over Niagara Falls in their tower but Two days before we were to stay we get a phone call telling us the hotel is having maintenance problems and they have booked us in another hotel which had a peekaboo view of Niagara Falls from a distance looked online and read this has been happening for weeks with other patrons. No chance to rebook something at this point. DISAPPOINTING

On my arrival date I was notified ,prior to check-in time, that our accommodations had been transferred to Hilton Hotel and that there would be no changes in pricing. Much to our chagrin this was not the case. Accommodations were charged in accordance with the Hilton rates. This led to chaos in the billing to a degree that couldn't be affectively resolved. This despite the assurance from Oakes that the transition would be seamless. Such was not the case. Our costs were much higher than we would have paid had the Oakes Hotel been able to accommodate us. MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT.

We actually didn’t stay at the Oakes because there was something wrong with our room so they booked us at the Hilton which was awesome cause it was attached to the place we were going to see Jo Koy. Elevators were sketchy, no hot water, 2 water bottles left for us for free and one was opened and half drank.

i booked oakes and when i go there for check in they said our hotel has plumbing issue they transfered another hotel when i go there its really horrible room over there but we cant stay booked new hotel then
