I was very disappointed with my experience at this hotel. I booked a room through Expedia that was specifically advertised as having river views. However, upon arrival, I was given a room facing the parking lot instead. During check-in, the staff member attempted to upsell me a room with falls views for an additional $100, which I declined. When I later raised the issue about not receiving the river view room I had booked, the front desk informed me that the hotel was fully booked and could not make any changes. They only offered a complimentary breakfast as compensation. I hope Expedia reviews this situation and takes appropriate action against businesses that engage in misleading or deceptive practices.

I was really disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The place felt very rundown — the wallpaper was peeling off the walls, and the bathroom was in serious need of renovation. Everything looked old and poorly maintained, and there was even a musty, sinky smell throughout the room. Definitely not worth the price.

Hotel overlooks Horseshoe Falls, great view especially if you get the falls view room. Rooms are dated, bathrooms are not the best- sink slowly drained, caulking around shower was gross. Offers coffee in lobby throughout the day. Great area to stay in for all of the tourist attractions. Great place to stay at to rest up for the day. $50 per day for parking. Early check in is $20. Staff was great.

About the only thing good about the hotel was the view, but even that comes at an extra cost, not every room comes with a Falls view. No daily maid service, no wardrobe, no tea and coffee in the room, no robes/slippers, no breakfast. $50 a day for the car park, tax for this, tax for that. Works out quite expensive when you add all the extra taxes and all for basic amenities.
