Great Location, but It’s Not All Gumdrops and Rose

We were switched from the Fallsview to Embassy Suites due to fire evacuees. Upon arrival, I upgraded to a room with a view of both falls, and the fireworks! The view was great. The bed was not at all comfortable. Breakfast was ok; the same each day. Our waitresses were fabulous! The reception with snacks : we went, and left despite the offer of a free drink. Snack were just that. Pretzels, tortilla chips. It was very crowded, so we passed. Parking fee is $70 CAN per night. Many of the spaces are ridiculously tight. The hotel is so crowded that there are always people all over in the lobby. Despite being on a floor that uses the blue elevator, There is always quite a wait for the elevator to come. The location is great, but some things definitely need improvement.

Just okay

We didn’t get to stay in the hotel we booked. They moved us to another hotel not even with a discount. Not the same view we had booked. Room for the price was not great and instead of a discount of moving hotels they tried to upsell us to get a better room?! Bed was comfortable, so the sleep was fine. The free breakfast was a madhouse, not worth it. If you want to park at the hotel it’s $70 on top of the room. The only redeeming factor of our stay were the fantastic staff, and that the World Santa Claus Convention was happening and there were a lot of nice Santa Claus’

A switch and then a great view!

We were supposed to be staying at the Wyndham Fallsview but they moved us to the Embassy Suites by Hilton across the street. Lovely hotel and a comparable room. We then upgraded to a falls view room and it was spectacular. The room was clean and comfortable with a million dollar view. The bed was very comfortable and we had plenty of towels etc. We've also stayed at the Wyndham Fallsview a few times and liked it. Both hotels are great locations and are close to everything (Fallsview Casino, OLG Stage Theatre, Avalon Theatre, the falls). The incline rail is right by the Embassy Suites so there is easy access to get down to the falls. We had a great stay!
