This was an incredibly fun and well maintained facility! The staff were kind and punctual, the valet parking was convenient and secure, and the rooms were very nice! A few things to note:
1. The complimentary breakfasts were rather small but definitely good! Mainly had cereal and muffins
2. If you get a room that faces either surrounding streets, be aware that they have street performers on the corner that perform until 12:00pm several nights during the week. We had the corner room and it was fairly loud. Just as a heads up!
The place is ok. Great location!! Easy Walking to Bourbon St.
Clean, and staff friendly!
We did not like that our room had a window to an storage closet, it was lighted all our stay.
Room is great, staff is amazing. the only negative is the valet parking. There isn't a designated spot to park and unload so we had to park on the street. also, no attending valet, when you check in the call for a attendant to come from somewhere and while you are waiting your vehicle is
not legally parked.
Loved this hotel with its fabulous atmosphere and style. A great hotel on a busy street. If you struggle to sleep with lots of outside street noise (including a very noisy tram), ask for an internal room but the compromise is the daylight. Dave the manager is incredibly helpful and full of knowledge and recommendations on what to do and best places to eat. We tried most places he recommended and one of the highlights of our week, was the food!! Dave is also good for a chat behind the bar. It’s a shame that other staff are not as personable and motivated by client service as Dave. Maybe that’s why he is the manager. Seeing staff sitting at the end of the bar, scrolling on their phones most of the time is not a good look. However, would definitely recommend for a great place to stay.
The only downside was the fact that the TV in the Room did not work properly and the TV Channels offered very severely limited.
That was the only disappointment.
I enjoyed most of my stay, the staff members were phenomenal! Very helpful and interactive with guests. The room and thin walls left an unsettling feeling. The housekeeping could have been better and the sounds from the outside noise left me up in the nigh and woke me from many sleeps.
This boutique hotel is simply beautiful and just over one year old as of 5/2025. For rooms with a street view, travelers who are light sleepers might find the street noise a bit much; however, the streetcars and cars with booming music tend to subside after midnight. NOLA is after all a serious party town! The hotel staff were extremely pleasant and helpful with dining suggestions and directions! I suggest the hotel consider a hot breakfast buffet vs. the cereal and coffee we were offered, IF they can carve out a space in their lovely lobby. The hotel bar is great! Security is good when key card access required.
We enjoyed our stay! Our first room faced onto Canal Street which is very noisy into the wee hours of the morning, so was difficult to get a full night's sleep even with earplugs. The hotel was accomodating and gave us the special room with no outside windows. It was much quieter.
They had a small breakfast with cereal, muffins and yogurt available. The surrounding area felt a little bit sketchy with homeless people, but the hotel itself keeps the front door locked via key card entry.
The staff were all really kind and willing to help if needed. I would have appreciated either a microwave or even a coffee maker in the room.
