Room was clean and adorable, bed very comfortable. Located in a great area walking distance to many fun things in the city. Was also very quiet outside and in the halls, didn't hear a noise at night our whole week-long stay. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Overall very happy with our stay!

Lightning in the room was really bad, many of the outlets did not work, the pillow cover and pillow was stained, towels provided were worn out or had holes, bathroom fixtures had rust on them. The rooms could benefit from some upgrades. Location of the hotel was fantastic and some of the staff members were great.

Our staycation was incredible! Beautiful hotel. Such a perfect location. The room was so clean!! We will stay there again just for the mattress! Soo comfy! We did not need staff attention but we knew they were right there. Wonderful stay!!!

It's a basic apartment hotel, with a comfy bed and bathroom - no bathtub though. Great location. That's about it. Elevator wasn't working and we're on the 6th floor so we had to take the side stairs where we found a huge roach. Terrible for patrons to see. Also came back to the room and a dead roach was in our bathroom. So this place is definitely infested. They refused a refund. I'll never stay here again.

The location was perfect for everything. We were in walking distance for most sites but then had the streetcar line right there. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. The hotel it self was beautiful. It gave the historical feel we were looking for.

Staff was awesome. Had a few issues with the room when we first got there, but they immediately sent people up to take care of it for us. Lafayette is an older hotel so you don’t expect everything to be perfect, but it was all very nice. Bed was comfortable. Location is great. All went all a very nice day, especially for the excellent price. I would say it was a bargain.

We prepaid for parking. We parked in the spot assigned to us, only to find a boot was put on our vehicle the morning we were to get to the airport. The worker had no idea what to do. All he could do is confirm we in fact did have parking paid for, were in the right spot, and that it shouldn’t have happened. No instructions on how to get reimbursed for what we had to pay to get the boot off or anything. It was horrible.

Charming Hotel next to Lafayette Square

Lovely hotel with an excellent and helpful staff. No frills. Just a clean room with a comfortable bed in a prime location 3/4 of a mile from the French Quarter. Air conditioning works very well. The St. Charles Trolley stops right across the street, getting you to the Garden District in 10 minutes. And it is just a blocks away from several excellent restaurants and coffee shops. It's a bit worn around the edges but at these great rates, who cares? Would definitely stay here again.
