It features an open living and dining area, galley kitchen, bedroom with queen bed, spa-quality sheets and an ensuite full bathroom, central heat and AC. Historic details include soaring 12-foot ceilings, exposed brick, and original heart pine flooring from the 1880s.

Guests have full and private access of this 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom home. The building is a double (duplex) and the owner lives in the unit next door. The two units share a dividing wall.

This home is located in the historic 7th Ward. This diverse and vibrant neighborhood has old Creole roots and is centrally located. Stayed here during the cold snap duration. It's a great little place. Clean, functional and cute. The only reason it doesn't get five stars is because the front door is 10 feet from a super busy street. The good news? You can't hear a thing in the bedroom if you shut the door. I'd stay here again.

The property was very clean and well equipped. I’m giving this three stars overall because of the following: the bed was a little soft for me and therefore uncomfortable. The neighborhood is kind of a challenge, too – I chose this property because it’s close to my son’s place but it’s not convenient to any restaurants or shops, and it’s sketchy for walking around at night.

Cozy Cottage

The cozy cottage is perfect for an adult couple on vacation. It was very clean and cozy. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and the property manager was very nice and helpful.
